Transmog N00b question

Is there a minimum ilvl for either 1) the item being copied from OR 2) the item being copied to?

I'm assuming (hoping) the answer is "no" to both, but just wanted to make sure before I get my hopes up.

as far as i know, you just have to be able to obtain the item you want transmog'd

As far as I know, there isn't an ilevel requirement but the item has to be green, blue, or purple.
