I have, on 10 at least. He's a tough fight still, but on farm now for my guild. Is there something specific you need help with?

Some tips that I can think of off the top of my head:

Drop a cleansing totem and have the MT(or someone designated) call out the people in vent as they get infected. (And also puke and explosions, but those are easier for everyone to watch for themselves if necessary.) If everyone is on the ball, you won't end up with any large slimes in the center, and the little slime does less damage than the disease.

The kiting tank can run through the slime, but no one else should. (Bunny-hopping used to reduce the damage from it, but I don't know if it still does.)

If you're running DBM, move from the slime explosion ONLY when it calls for it, and don't stand where anyone else was standing. The slime doesn't target spots until after the cast finishes. You also don't need to move far, just a few steps.

As a hunter, try to position yourself as close as you can to the boss without hitting minimum range, and near one leg or the other. If the tank's tanking him in the center, you should be safe from slime piles.

Pally and DK tanks do the best at kiting because of their ranged abilities. Palies can also control the cleanse if you don't have a shaman with cleansing totem in the raid.

If you do have a shaman, blow hero early, because the diseases get cast more often as the fight goes on, and an early hero gets the most people when they're not running around.

Yah. What she said.

Also, don't punch him in the face. You'll get rot on your hand.

It's just the small orbs coming after you and then having to avoid the slime that's confusing. When tried rotface he just keep going from front to back very rapidly. The time I got to his back he was already facing that direction and I had to reverse course and go back. I get back and once again he is facing that direction. This keep going about 3-4 in a row and was very annoying and frustrating to no end.

You only have to move to his opposite side when he casts Slime Spray, AdamSavage. Otherwise, you should be able to stand relatively still, unless a new slime puddle starts filling in where you're standing or you get infected and have to run to your big slime kiter or he gives his "angry poo-poo" warning. I try to stand at about the midpoint between Rotface and the outside wall, so that the Slime Spray hasn't fanned out to its maximum width when it gets to where I am - it's a cone when he casts it, so you want to be in a spot where you're not at the biggest end of that cone. This does mean that occasionally the tank brings him too close and brings him into my melee...but I just re-adjust a bit and keep firing.

Does that cover what you're having trouble with? Rotface isn't the most BM-friendly fight because of the movement...but your pet doesn't have to worry about getting infected or Slime Spray or the big slime explosions and can just stay on him the whole time. :) I usually do tolerably well on him.

Oh I don't use BM for raiding. I use Survival.

Yes, I have downed him on both my Hunter and my Resto Shaman.

What info are you looking for? It's a pretty easy fight once you get it down. Sharilar pretty much covered the fight, though I would not suggest having a Cleansing Totem down as you want to control when the Infected player is cleansed so as to keep the slime out of the main raid.

As a Hunter, you want to be not in the front cone area, so behind or beside Rotface, so you will have to keep moving because you do not want to get hit with slime spray. Close range is best so as to diminish the chances of getting caught in a slime pool. But you can forecast where the next pool will form as it will be opposite where it last was. So if you're looking at the boss and there's a slime pool on the opposite side, move because the next one will be right behind you.

The Infected player must run to the kite tank, get cleansed and guide their slime into another slime. Then return to the main raid area.

To sum up

1) Do not get hit with Slime Spray, stay out of Rotface's front area
2) Control oozes
3) Don't stand in slime

I hate Rotface as a hunter. Every class but hunters can stand in melee and dps him, but we have to be a few yards back. I have to keep on adjusting myself to not be too close in melee but not to be too far behind that I won't be standing in slime pools.

On 25 man we split the raid in half. One half stand on his right leg and the other half stands on his left leg. If he turns to you, just take a wide circle to get behind or on the side of him so you don't get hit by the slime spray. After he's done casting that move back to your original spot.

For slime explosion hunters, however, have it easy. Make sure their is no slime behind you and wait until DBM gives the warning to move away and just disengage. Your pet can stay in (although you might need to give him a quick mend pet) and you won't lose any dps by running. Just run back in once the slime explosion is over.

If you get an ooze on you, just run to the ooze tank and when you get cleansed, deterrence to lessen damage on you as the ooze can take a while to merge with another.

It's not nearly as bad as Marrowgar for this. Everyone but the Hunters can stand right in Marrowgar's hit box and do their thing without dodging cold flames, while Hunters have to be constantly on their toes.

Which in the long run is good as it's a pretty basic intro the what we're doing through ICC, but I admit to being rather envious!

Marrowgar is easy. I quickly learned that if the cold flame comes at you then simply move over. When it's done I go back. It's pretty much left right left right kinda thing.

Marrowgar is easy no doubt, I was just comparing the movement needs between Rotface and Marrowgar and the ease other players have between the fights.

My guild oneshotted him. I think for PUGs it's two, maybe three tries.

What percentage didnyou wipe on?

Yeah, if you wipe on 62 you're pretty much chanceless. Try improving your strats/gear.

Yah but he is very bullheaded. I don't want to spend like a 100g in repairs for nothing really.

Here is a screenshot of the raid group make up. Look them up on the armory and see what u think ?

Unfortunately I can't check them right now, but you could try putting them into wow-heroes.com
It should show you raids sorted by colour. If I'm correct ICC would be in the high-end of the scale. In that case they're undergeared. If not, then try other tactics. I'll check them on armory when I get the time. (About seven hours from now :( )
