Dress that Night Elf! UPDATE: Set Found? [ IMG HEAVY ]

So, I'm in a rut. I can't decided what armor I want to use for 4.3. Furthermore, with the news of our melee weapons being obsolete in the following expansion, my ideas have all come crashing down. I need any help here from the creative minds of the people from Petopia!

I first wanted Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury to focus my armor around (and still do and will still farm it despite not being able to be transmoged)


This Amazing bow would also go nicely with my favorite flying mount The Drake of the North Wind


Now one set I came up with was


I loved it, then hated it x.x Too much gold and it just didn't feel like Astra to me due to the colors. I love the shapes of the chest, shoulders and boots - very close to what I wanted. However.. the gold x.x So, I followed up with the following.


Which I focused around the Sonic Spear and my love for Blue and Black - most my pets as well match this nicely. Though, as weird as I am, and I do love the bow, this doesn't feel right sometimes. I do love this set and look, but not 100% sure yet.

A final idea I liked was the following.



It just felt too Northrend for me :/


So, my thought was can anyone help me design a set around the legendary bow, sticking to blues as the primary color and not show too much skin?

I spend hours in the night trying to create a set to form around a legendary bow, and a bow to replace it and my creativity is failing me

I found Avalanche goes great with dark sets.

Which Bow is this? It's really pretty. The Honor Point Bow, can't remember the name, is gorgeous as well and matches the blue theme. It's less "swirly" than the one in this picture you posted though.

Yes, it is the Crypt Fiend Slayer, a very nice bow from Halls of Reflection.
I found a hunter can easily solo it daily for a shot at the bow.
I went in my beast master spec and brought along Terrorpene my turtle and Magria my spirit beast. During the waves of mobs that attack I simply set my turtle on them with a MD and made sure to freeze trap hunter or mage, killing the priest first.
A top: Do not Feign when the mobs first start charging you! The whole dungeon will reset to the begining. Make sure to get at least one shot in then feign so the turtle takes the agro, MD and multi shot
The boss fights are simply dps them down. During the small pause in-between boss and waves I brought out my spirit beast to heal any needed health. Rinse and repeat this process. The final 'boss' race to escape the Lich king is easy enough with your turtle - simply put traps down MD the turtle and dps away :3
Should be an easy run for your bow.

You know, I think I finally found my set

I went way off the beaten path, and bit the bullet at accepting that the Legendery bow may never be able to be converted. So, unless that changes I dropped the idea of having a set to match this.

So, I went with the next best bow for my taste


I'll be making a thread to get opinions on this set shortly, so look out for it ^_^;

It really does look amazing
The detail both up close and far away make it a stunning bow. I'm a little disappointed I passed it up a few weeks before transmog was announced, but I'll continue to farm for it until I see it again.

I managed to get the whole charscale set together, and by tomorrow should have the helm and cape So, crossing my fingers that Tuesday will be my day for the bow to drop!
