Upgrading computer teim <3

[Felidire]

So I was in the middle of the Twin Peaks BG the other day and out of nowhere I got hit with an evil, recurring blue screen. It appears just before prompting me to enter my password (upon booting up the computer) making it impossible to log in. I narrowed the problem down to either faulty RAM or a shitty HDD. It turned out to be the latter.

Anyway, it's been about 20 months since I threw this computer together, so I figure while i'm in the market for a new hard drive I might as well do a few upgrades. The problem is, I normally spend a good month or so researching before doing this; so this time around i'm completely out of the quo.

Here's my current rig. I've stripped it down to sell some of the older parts.

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
MOBO: ASUS Rampage II Extreme
HDD: WD 1.0TB SATA/64MB Cache (FRIED!)
* WD 500GB SATA/32MB Cache - (my file storage)
GPU: XFX - NVIDIA GTX 285
CPU: Intel - i7-920 (LGA1366)
PSU: Silverstone Strider, 1500w
RAM: 12GB - 3x2GB Corsair XMS3 (DDR3, 1600MHz, 9-9-9-24, 1.65V)

Now I need help with graphics cards... I've always wanted to try a Radeon card, but they all appear to be somewhat inferior to that of the latest NVIDIA stuff. I'll likely go with a CrossFire or 2-way SLI setup this time around, so power consumption is a contributing factor.

I'm currently eyeballing the GTX 560 Ti, but if anyone knows of a cheaper/similar priced GPU with nicer specs, please fill me in! =P

I'm not sure would find a good card like that for the same price range. It's descent card and would be more then enough to run wow.

I'd recommend looking at newegg.com for a price listing.
