From Humble Beginnings... SoX's Mount Journal

Entry 1

Hello Petopia Community:

As this is my first post, I'd like to give a brief introduction. I'm a college of music student. Female, 20, gamer, blah. My mains are:

Realm: Smolderthorn
Maarajade (yes, like from Star Wars) Shadow/Holy Priest, Goblin

Realm: Gorgonnash
Sitaara Marksmanship/Beast Mastery Hunter, Draenei

Sitaara is a Vanity pet collector. I believe I have 80 or more on her. I decided only recently to collect mounts on Maarajade. She will be the focus of this thread. With her, I am presently collecting in order of desire:

Aeonaxx
Netherwhelps
Poseidus
Talbuks

I have been camping for Aeonaxx for about 36 straight hours and haven't seen a sign thus far. Fortunately, it is not a commonly farmed mount on my server. I've only seen three or four other players there since I began my camp. I'm hoping to camp for less than 4 days, but I've been told it can take longer. I certainly hope it won't. I just thought I'd make this thread to update my status and perhaps receive some pointers. Thanks, if you're tuning in. I could use the moral support on this camp, haha. Be sure to PM me if you ever want to hop on Vent or MSN me. I'm always looking for something to do while I wait.

Good luck!!! you're extremely lucky if you see Aeonaxx in 4 days..but I guess it can happen..

Eh, a girl can hope heheheh. I'm exhausted, I've never run a camp this long before. Wish I had someone to take shifts with me. According to my NPCscan, not any recent farms so... I hope it'll spawn sooner rather than later.

Thanks all for the warm wishes. I'll keep you all posted Any recommendations for a place to camp? Presently, I'm at one of the pillars closest to the entrance to the Temple of Earth.

Entry 2

Well, day 4 has come and gone. I'm now on day 5 of rather obsessive camping. Recently had some bugger show up and claim he's been here all week too... We got in a bit of a spat about it. I may be severely sleep deprived... Oh well, this mount will be worth it if it spawns. Killed Xariona (another rare drake that spawns in the upper ring) with a random group of 5. Ended up winning all of her BoE's, which is awesome. Couldn't have had more of a fit when the horn went off for her though. Saw it was a drake and almost table flipped when it wasn't Aeonaxx. Should be an interesting week.
