Society and people in general place unrealistic expectations on all of us. There's this standard of perfection we are forced to strive for, that is literally impossible to reach. Too many people get weighed down by this and give in to self-loathing, but you know what? Fuck that. Life's too short, the media is run by Nazis and I'm kickass and so are you.

This is a thread to point out all the aspects of your personality, life, and appearance that make you an awesome person.
As for me?
I love my sense of humor and the fact that there is nothing anyone could say to offend me. I have been called some pretty terrible things, but I just laugh it off. They're just words, and my relaxed attitude in this respect has actually gotten me several like-minded friends.
Physically I love my blue eyes and big ass. I see these tricks on TV trying to make their butts smaller so they can shrink down to a size 2. That's fine for them, but I don't know what I'd do without my cushy tush.

This is actually a challenge for me. Which is sad, if you think about it.
Personality wise:
I think I like my sense of humor. It goes all over the place. I use math jokes, chemistry jokes (Real proud of that, dangit), grim jokes, immature jokes, all in all I have jokes and puns and sarcasm for every occasion.
Physically: I've been told my eyes are very pretty. *shrugs.*
Well, I usually go out of my way to help others. I'm generally laid back and I have a pretty broad sense of humor. Overall, I just enjoy making others happy.
Um.....well, my husband loves my butt, so that's good I think? I've also been told by others that I have a nice butt (even if I'm lacking in other areas).
As far as my personality goes, I am very non-judgmental (or at least I try my hardest) and I have a unique sense of humor. Also, I am very loyal to my friends and family and am always trying to help people.

I like being tall. It used to be my bane when I was younger in elementary school, but then I learned to embrace it and realize it's fun and awesome to be tall. 6' and proud of it. I'm pretty pleased by my overall neutral personality. I don't tend to get angry or sad easily. It takes a lot to push me in either direction, and overall I'm a fairly pleasant person that's easy to get along with. I'm happy to have a wonderful life with my boyfriend of 8+ years. I'm pretty pleased that I've been through a really rough teenagehood involveing alot of pain and surgery and yet I have not once used it to "get attention" like so many people tend to do when they have it rough or the "you don't understand what I've been through" line. I just don't see that as fair.
I've embraced my skinnyness I've had all the haters and the people who think "a skinny white girl = She thinks she's a model and so must not eat" and have been on the weight gaining diets. I now know I'm just one of those people who don't gain weight and quite frankly don't care what people think anymore.
I love my body even though all my rib and stomach surgery's have left my torso a scared mess. Least my chest looks normal now!.
Um personality? Eh guess I'm cool >.> I've been told I am able to just say what I want, regardless of what other people think. Is that something to be proud off?.
I love being shorter than everyone I know. I like my curves and my shoulders and my long, graceful fingers. I like that I can accept my own failings without hiding behind excuses, and I like that I have the strength to battle those failings, even when it's painful or terrifying. I like that I have a well-deserved reputation for honesty. I like that I can always find at least one thing I have in common with any person I meet. I like that, more often than not, I like myself.

Physical: I have the world's best poker face. I've been informed more than once of my 'emotionless eyes' and how I 'look as though I'm ready to murder someone, even when smiling'. Also, some people say I'm fat, I say I'm the perfect softness for a pair of toddlers to snuggle with.
Personality: I am the counselor. I will listen. I will advise. I will not judge you more than you ask to be judged. I will be there when you need a shoulder to cry on. I will cheer for you when you accomplish something. And when you no longer need me, I will quietly step away and let you excel.
Physical: People say I have pretty eyes, but I think it is my legs that I am proud of. I have long legs, and I am a fairly fast runner, and good at playing lacross.
Personality: I am very quiet, and can comfort anyone in distress. It comes naturally, somewhat. I can also think multiple strategies, when faced with a real world situation.
Physical… I love my hair. It's soft and curly and just the right color of brown to make everyone fight over if it's "Dark blonde" or "Very light brown".
I'm happy with my weight. I have no excess fat but I'm dense, and I have big feet to give me a solid stance. I have long fingers and I like having long fingers.
I suppose I rather like my eyes, too, because they're not just brown, but a nice mix of browns, yellows and greens.
Mentally… I'm happy with who I am. I love that I'm artistic and I'm very open minded (most of the time). I try my hardest to be understanding of all, and I like getting both sides of every story. I've been told that I'm a very good ear. I've had guildies I never really knew praise me openly as being a great shoulder to lean on. I'll sacrafice my own happiness to help others, even if I don't need to. I'm rarely needy, unlike a certain brother in my family. xD
I've also been told I'm remarkably calm and mature, which are both things I treasure.

Wow, I'm jealous!! I am 5'1 and I would love to be tall! My boss steals the paper towels out of my room instead of just getting some from the shelf in the back, which makes me sad because I can't reach the shelf in the back to get more. That's why I keep some in my room He said maybe one day I can have a stepstool with demonic unicorns painted on it, though.
I like where my life is at. I have a wonderful husband, some good friends and an awesome job. I get along well with pretty much everyone and I've been really productive lately, which makes me feel good about myself. I like this thread, btw.
My lifes been nothing much, i kinda feel like from being born to nov 10th 2011 ive kinda just been.. here.. that ive been doing nothing more then existing. There was nothing to me, im easily bored, i dont overly like being around people (usually the only person i like to be around is just my bf) yet i long to be popular and have people invite me out to do stuff. Ive felt so useless the past couple years, i literally felt like i was wasting my life away but i never had the motivation to fix that. I was afraid of my future because of the lack of motivation to get my career started but even that wasnt good enough to motivate me.
Then my dad found out about Cinemazoo back in september. We researched it, visited them, had a lovely interview with the owner of the buisness, and on saturday, first time ever being there to actually work and not just talk or sit and listen i got to perform as an assistant for two birthday parties with the owners girlfriend and it was amazing. Honestly, in that day, the first day in my life that was a very important step towards my dream career, i really did feel important. I felt awesome, i was happy, i was happy to be with the kids, to be with the animals, to help be apart of an education exersice that they didnt even know they were having cause they were having so much fun learning about the animals.
I feel awesome, i feel like i really have a chance to jump into my career and do well! I love being at the care center, i love working with the people there, i love learning from them. All the animals have been adopted or rescued, all of them were taken in cause the owners didnt know how to care for them, couldnt afford it, too much work involved, didnt care at all, couldnt house them anymore for a variety of reasons, acts of cruelty cases, and im working with them, im caring for them, im teaching others about them, im doing something that holds a lot of purpose. Im helping give these animals a better life and im teaching the population about them and changing their lives in the process, for all i know, through my efforts, i could be the reason many of these children i interact with enter a career that works with animals.
All in all, from one presentation my dad saw, my life has been changed for the better and im finally on a direct road to my dream career so early in life. Im only 20 and already im, if i work hard and truly dedicate myself, seeing an amazing future for myself.
Personality wise, i really dont know what to say, ive been through lots of ups and downs as any person has had, i just.. i dont really know any 'positive' personality traits cause i dont really have friends in RL so i cant see what im like through them and how they react to me. Even when i did have friends in elementary and highschool it was weird.
Physically, im a copper red-head <3 most of the time my hair can be very dark, kinda brownish red but theres times where its brilliant shiny reddish copper with some darker brown tones, god i cant believe i used to dye it. Other then that.. i love how i dont gain weight lol, i eat all sorts of stuff but i honestly dont gain any weight, ive been a toothpick my entire life. God help me if that changes...
I like that I'm a strong person. I can give people good advice, as I have experienced a lot, both bad and good, I work hard towards helping those I care about. I'm a good listener, I'm entertaining and I'm intelligent. I'm a good and devoted mother, and I am able to make and keep friends with ease. I have charm and charisma. I'm self-confident enough to be able to laugh at my bad sides and to recognise that I'm not perfect, and dont need to be.
I love my hair, as it's long, sleek and shiny. I love that I have proper boobs and an arse. I like my hourglass figure, though it still needs work until it's perfect again. I love my stretchmarks, the scars left by my two precious children. I love my tattoos, the stories of my life. I love my lips, as they are shapely and full. I love my skin, which is naturally pale and clear. I love my eyes, because they're green and slightly slanting.
I'm VERY hard to get along with.. people either love me upon first contact, or HATE me with a passion before I even open my mouth. It's always been like that.
I form very passionate friendships. But I do so with difficulty.
And yet, I'm a very happy out-going and easy to talk to person. Go figure.
I like the most of myself my musical talent. Without it, I'd be.. no one. Nothing. I AM the music I write. The music I write IS me.
If I had to stop making music tomorrow, I know I would simply die. It's the most major part of every fiber of my being.

Physical... not much about me, haven't heard a compliment in years.
Personality... I take care of those I care about... my other half is disabled, and although we are on the outs with each other, it isn't her disability that is the problem, I have never had a problem taking care of her. I've been complimented on my willingness to take care of her and the fact that her disability doesn't phase me. (the way she treats me is the reason we are on the outs with each other). I'm also one of those people that don't like to hurt others, I can't readily leave her as we have a baby girl together (who also has medical needs) and I would have to take the baby with me as her mother can't care for her. I don't want to be that person, I can't be that person, no matter how much I'm going through.
not really sure how awesome that is, but the others first idea behind it I feel is always a decent trait in anybody.
Also, I am very loyal to my friends and family and am always trying to help people.
