Arclite's eventual fate...

As Arclite gradually levels (and by gradually, I mean as slow as the -50 DKP guy wants people to DPS) through the 70-80 bracket, I'm continuing to think where I'm going to relocate her to. Basically, here are the possibilities:

-She will go to an RP server and get a rename. Arclite was her PvE name; she will become known as Casandrau Duskblaze (or some other last name. Casandrau will be her first name/character name regardless.) However, I'm still trying to pinpoint where she would be sent off to. I'd prefer an RP server that isn't a ghost town so that I could do level 60/70 content on my Hunter for RP gear.

-A more recent, but much less likely idea: Arclite would be sent to Nesingwary and join Petopians. Arc is my more casual/PvP character, so she could fit into the rhythm of the guild. However, I dunno if I could find RP in the guild, and I've been envisioning Arc as a character for many months.

If anyone has any input about RP hot spots or the other option, include it in your reply.

As far as I know, Moonguard and Wyrmrest Accord are the two busiest RP servers at the moment. I'm not really integrated in either community right now, though, so you may want to check them out yourself.

So far, Moon Guard seems to be a better choice. RP appears to be plentiful, and progression is surprisingly decent from what I've read. People can even WTS and such in character. However, I haven't quite decided yet. I'll still have to do more examination.

*coughs* Come to Cenarion. While RP guilds (at least to me) seem exclusive, both horde and Alliance have server RP channels....

That, and I'm a CCer. Of course I'm slightly biased. But yes, Moon Guard an Wyrmrest and popular.

It comes down to quality over quantity between Moon Guard and Wyrmrest Accord.

Moon Guard has quantity. You can find random RP everywhere! However, after reading some people's RP descriptions the quality of the RP may not been too great. You will need to pick and choose the RP you want to get into and for the love of God stay away from Goldshire! As an older server, MG has more progression.

Wyrmrest Accord has less random RP, but a much better quality and serious RP stories and events. As a newer server, WA has less progression, but it might be easier to jump into a raiding guild for a first time raider that way.

After viewing Wyrmrest, it looks like the RP itself is better there. I got to talk to some people at the Silvermoon City inn, and they seem to recommend it.

Farstriders isn't well populated, I'm afraid. The other RP realms I have some experience with are Sisters of Elune (not much RP anywhere that I saw) and Argent Dawn (good population, seemingly good RP).

Blackwater Raiders was my first realm, but a friend and his guild all transferred to Moon Guard, for the better RP.

I'm nearing the end of my pondering session. Currently, Arclite will be sent to Wyrmrest unless an even more attractive option arises.

Transfer under way. Arclite will soon become an official denizen of Wyrmrest Accord. Also, she will be taking up the new name of Casandrau since Arclite is taken on that server (also, Casandrau is a more RP-ish name.)
