Prowl

This is probably the wrong place to post this but what the heck.

I have noticed I can't cancel prowl on may cat or on my spirit beasts. I also find that if cancel auto cast it wll reset to on as default at certain times. Not sure when. Has anyone else noticed this.

It is annoying when trying to show my new Skarr and Spirit Beasts, in Stormwind.

Prowl has been broken for some time. Though I have not found a problem once off of it coming back on. You can either:

1) Turn it off as soon as you tame the beast before it uses it
2) Turn it off and attack something so the pet uncloaks.

I don't use it, so I typically take it off my bar. Make sure the dotted line isn't running around it, or the pet can recast it.

Yea i cant even remember when it broke... it was like what, April? something around then... i agree its very annoying and i dont know if blizz has been trying to figure out the problem or has decided its not important enough for the tech people that keep the live version of WoW running while others work on patches and MoP to fix or if they've diverted nearly all resources to 4.3 when it was still in the making and now MoP which has yet to have a reveal date or if they have decided that they just dont overly feel the need to fix it until possibly MoP even though it has been over 6 months since it happened, probably closing in on 3/4th of a year now actually.

Pretty much do what Snowwalker suggested, taking off the bar completely is good but i myself perfer to keep it on the bar but to each their own ^^

Yeah, this bug is annoying. I never manage to get to the button before the cat cloaks, so I turn it off autocast and go find a squirrel or rat or something post haste.

I've reported it and get the usual 'we know, we're working on it' response. Eh well, my Headless Horseman horse still runs on the ground at quadruple speed and they haven't fixed that either, so... it's not -just- this that's slipping through the cracks. It could be worse; at least they did fix that 'run off and kill critters in dungeons, pull whole room' bug that foxes used to have.
