New server?

I can't stand my server anymore. I'm sick of crying because of a video-game because people are outright ignoring me or spreading lies about me.

My character is being shunned by almost everybody because she's not a noble and not a happy go lucky person. She's a warrior - Of course she's gruff and somewhat negative.
And just because you don't like my character doesn't mean you don't have to be telling people that I'm a horrible roleplayer and that because I raid [[Which I can't no longer since I left the guild treating me like crap.]] doesn't mean I don't know the "basics" of RP.
I've been RPing since I started playing last year and I've made more progression in PvE AND PvP than most of these people causing me issues combined.

I walk around Silvermoon and get ignored completely.
I jokingly walk up to my friend as a gnome on a mammoth saying "((Hehe. Greifing you. <3)) as a joke to say hello and get threatened to be reported despite the fact I was literally just trying to RP with some of these people 10 minutes prior?
It's like a bunch of nazis. It's a public area.

I invited two of my best friends to come join me on this server back when I adored it. They both eventually came over and we /started/ RPing with another guild.
However my character wasn't seen as proper. It makes sense - A solider in with a bunch of nobles. She stood out like a sore thumb but I was literally asked to leave several times because they didn't like me.
Each time I'd RP with my friends and these people I ended up having to leave because they were just shoving me aside.

This entire guild is literally doing nothing but sucking my previous friends in. They didn't even punish the one guy who told me nothing but sexist slurs and to leave him the hell alone when I tried to tell him he upset me OOCly with IC actions ((Shunning me every time I tried to RP with my friends and then threatening to do severe IC actions such as breaking off house alliances and what not if they were even seen with my NON-NOBLE character.)).
He did this in front of both my friends. One friend then went and joined his guild.

I can't raid. Absolutely no guild is recruiting my class and two other guilds are trying to spread word that it's useless to recruit a warrior this tier because we're useless.
Despite this - Other guilds on other servers are fine with my class and even my spec.
One of these people advertising this is the GM of a guild I just quit because they were demanding I do things for them when they did nothing for me. They not once acknowledged I had a real life and the one time I stated I would have to leave early they blew up in my face about how I'm always having to do something and how I'm putting myself in a bad light with them.

I literally feel like I can't do a single thing here and it's tearing me apart. It feels like people are trying to chase me off and it's working.

I considered making my own guild over here for PvE purposes but is there really a point if I can't even RP on an RP server because this small group is setting off legit anxiety attacks because of their sexist and lewd behaviors?
I can't even goof off with my boyfriend OOCly on mounts outside the city without people of this one guild threatening to report me.

Several people are telling me to go to Moon Guard but since it's Wymrest's "sister" realm I really don't feel 100% comfortable with the idea of it yet.
I don't want to pay the money and end up going through the same thing.

I got harassed, I would cry, people were unbearably cruel to me, and it COMPLETELY stopped when I quit playing my elf. I've met some lovely people in Silvermoon but to put it bluntly, that is kind of where the scum of the server hangs out.

Recently I've started playing my paladin occasionally, but when I RP on her I only go into Silvermoon if my friend is with me. There's just too many griefers and creeps around there. I'm quite content to stick to my guild's RP or find other spots such as Org or Brill.

You're not the only person I've met that's been "chased" out of the city because of how badly people treat each other there. It's starting to get ridiculous just how bad it's getting there and apparently - It's a huge problem.

I've avoided Silvermoon since BC. All my characters are trolls or tauren and RPing in Silvermoon just doesn't feel right. I really wish RP outside of Silvermoon was just as common but if you aren't in an RP guild, it just isn't.

I'm at the same point you are at Kraai. With my guild pretty much dead as they all left for Star Wars I'm unable to raid. I refuse to go into the two other "good" horde raiding guilds on the server because they have people in them we kicked out in Instinct because they were assholes. I do not want to raid with them again. Plus since I have been in a raiding guild since the start of the server people think I am griefing them if I try to RP. I'm not so much attacked as just pretty much ignored. I'm lonely with all my good friends have left the game and I cannot raid or RP.

One of my friends that hasn't quit told me he is probably going to Moon Guard. I don't know anything about horde side there but alliance side made me laugh and cry from the terrible RP I saw. Otherwise, I'll try to get into an active RP guild to make some friends, if anyone has any suggestions for my trolls.

If I do decide to stick around and create a new guild on this server you're more than welcome to hop along. It'll have a heavy PvE focus and be highly RP friendly. [[We'll create our own lore down the road once we all decide on something.]]

It just seems like this is a stressful time for many of us.

Cenarion Circle is quiet. I can't say much for the Horde side beyond A. You'll want a guild, but there's a helluva lot of 'em and B. I never see random RP in Org whenever I was meandering. Silvermoon I dunno. They have a few server wide RP channels, but you'd have to go to the forums to look them up.

Alliance side...eh. It's dead if you don't have an RP guild, which is sadly the way of the future it seems. You have an RP guild or you're SOL. Regardless, Ally side does have server RP channels as well (HearthstoneIC).

Good luck finding a server--when you find a good one let me know. So there for random RP. :\

I don't play much on Wyrmrest anymore, but I'm sorry to see so much nastiness is going on there. It seems like RP servers sort of spawn it. The more popular the RP server, the more horrible drama-queens you'll get, and it can get pretty bad. I guess WRA is becoming one of those. There are a lot of really cool people there, but it's kind of overrun by total jerks.

I only RPd there in Thunder Bluff and Mulgore, and the tauren tribe guilds were pretty nice, but I could see some problems. Too many people taking IC things way too personally. Really tore apart some awesome guilds. (Wassa and Zuilu, if either of you remember the Earthspear Tribe/Stormtotem Tribe, that's what I'm referring to. )

As for servers, I can't really say much - the only server I play on nowadays isn't a RP server.

It was there long before Wyrmrest was a twinkle in Blizzard's eyes. x3 But pretty much all the jerks and elitists from Moon Guard left and went to WrA when it came online. I'm not saying that out of biasedness or anything. I have toons on Wyrmrest and WrA is so much worse than MG, even more now than ever before. MG is basically this - avoid Elwynn and avoid Trade. Other than that, everything is peachy keen.

I..beg to differ. I know plenty of people who have quit the entire game due to the harassment on Moon Guard. I wouldn't touch that realm with a ten foot pole. After playing on it myself for months, WrA is a safe haven compared to that.

I beg to differ as well. I've never heard of anyone leaving MG or leaving WoW because of MG. Maybe before WrA came about it might've happened but like I said......all the jerks that WERE on MG left for WrA when it came about. But on any server, you're gonna find some asshats.

Since this topic was made, it's making it obvious theres a problem on WrA with bullies and douches...an entire guild full of them. I've got toons on WrA myself and wish to move them to MG cause WrA made me feel very unwelcome(atleast horde side). Trade chat was 100x worse than MG(MG is humorous or just usually stupid. WrA, they went out of their way to target you and attack you). I couldn't find a friendly face anywhere. Seems it hasnt gotten any better since I last logged on.

Mind you this is Horde Side I speak of. Alliance, I'm not certain on it. Maybe all the nicer people are on alliance.

I remember what happened to those tribes. :< I pulled out of a lot of RP including the Farstrider RP I used to do with my Blood Elf (That was getting ridiculous anyways...) because of a certain annoying plot with a guild that ran into a stalemate. It was actually causing me to stress out OOCly. =(

That seems to be a running theme - really awesome guilds getting a little too intense. I maybe got a little bit sick of being gone a single day and missing FOUR BATTLES. >.> I know a lot of the old Tribe RPers moved to small, tight-knit, reclusive guilds that don't deal with others much, just for that reason.

But I'm only pointing out WrA's flaws, I guess. There's a lot of good on that server, really. It's just that the bad really stands out.

The idiots will always always ALWAYS speak out louder for the community than the good people.
It's something I'm learning pretty fast.

Also - Was and Zui - I'm currently on Laughing Skull preparing to pick up my grail on Monday.
