whelp sorry to say this but they can now track you down and send you to jail apparently.

Need more proof? Have a video.

I seriously feel cornered, I think I may have downloaded something from megavideo myself.
Im pretty sure this isn't bull anyways. seems pretty serious

First of all, JeepersMedia is epic, i subscribed to him a while back cause of his crazy toys and second of all, i know ive used megavideo but millions of other users have too so im kinda wondering if they're gonna track down every user or what. Though i live in Canada i am wondering a bit if it'll affect those outside the US

Dont quote me on this but if this follows the same pattern as Napster back in the day most of the people charged were the ones who were sharing the copyrighted material. That is to say the people who would download a song and then use napster to share it with other people ie the seeders. IF they did go after everyone, which sounds like a RIDICULOUS undertaking, I imagine they'd just go for the people who are sharing or downloading the most material.

Heres the thing, that guy is is VASTLY underestimating the amount of people who have downloaded things from there. Its more like 50 percent of the internet users. If the WERE to litterally start a witch hunt for every person who did this, I swear people would rise up. Violently. Think the occupy protests with armed people. All hell would break loose

just so people know, did the internet blackout have any effect at all?

here's a handy pic to let you know just how well it DID work:

A bit of palindromic wisdom:
"Step on no pets!"
Casual player.. don't raid, don't PvP. Suffer from extreme altitis
I love pets - combat or non.
