- now I had a motive to try out the faire, and it took me 2 months of grinding but finally I had enough tickets for the darn thing... I 'mogged it onto my heirloom cloak (for a hefty 300g - yeowch!), and stood marvelling at it... only to slowly realize the flashy newcomer was overshadowing many of the existing items.So, after some more research I decided to preserve the existing "core pieces" (chest, legs & tabard), and found replacements for the rest from the Ten Storms recolor set (had the right colors and also the extra oomph to hold their own against the new cloak), and a couple 1hers that wouldn't obscure the back when sheathed... normally I'd have preferred something more demonic / organic for Lenore's shoulders, but the general colors and shape were too perfect to pass up.
It took some leveling to get Lenore able to solo the TBC heroics, but once I got her to 80, the gloves, belt, shoulders and sword all dropped reasonably quickly, the dagger took some work (and leveling - by the time she had that she was 83. But at least the path was certain, if long)... the boots however took forever to drop. Always seems like there's got to be one "holdout" boss with these things...
