How did I do? Keep in mind I used a tutorial video to do this and had absolutely no idea what I was doing. lol
That was fun though, I'd like to get some more practice with that and maybe help some people out eventually in making these for others.
I downloaded a trial version of Photoshop CS5 to do this. Would I need to buy that program to do it again or is there a less expensive way to do this? It would be just a fun little hobby I wouldn't mind trying out. The one thing I couldn't figure out was something that's probably rather simple. How do I put a border around it?

Wow that looks awesome! And on your first try! I see you did have some trouble with the transparent ones though. There are several ways to select shapes in Photoshop, I'm not an expert with it by any means,but I like to duplicate the locked first layer then click on the new one and go to Filter>Extract to isolate and remove pieces of things from a larger image. There may be easier ways,but it might be worth trying on the harder selections. Very well done though I love the background.
