You might want to get it now. Now, understand that this is beta, and it is likely to change, I'd say, but as of right now, in beta, the red mastiffs do not exist. The ones in the new scarlet monastery are black. So this is sort of a possible warning.

Again, it is beta and subject to change, but I thought I'd let people know.

No, this was the case before that, and I went around to tame every mastiff color on my worgen and I couldn't get red.
I wanted to wait a little bit more but I was told to start a thread to warn people just in case. XD

Actually, you may want to be careful with taming it now. Because if this *is* reskinning? Then the mastiff you tame will *still* change colors, as they're changing an NPC ID. Like how, in Cataclysm, people ended up with the Silithid 'Ant' model when it wasn't supposed to be tameable. Or... well, people remember the Rak'shiri explosion!

It's a completely different mob, as far as I can tell. They're named differently and have different buffs and behaviors.

Gotcha! There's still the possibility, but it's a *lot* less with that. Here's hoping that it either changes back, or that the skin shows up elsewhere! I need a nice, red dog to go with my Scarlet Cosplay, after all.

buuu if my mastiff cant be red on Norrathia not sure if she would keep one hehe.. but hopefully they will have the skin in game
