*Blast*- said pet fires a blast of energy at target enemy, 40yrd range. 2sec cast

Basically this is my solution to fights where a hunters pet can't reach the ranged target (Looking at you Goriana). It would need to work similar to an imps fireball, and also have potential to be affected by kill command (like the old intimidation used to work on next melee attack).

I don't know what the numbers should look like, but the damage should be roughly equivalent to the damage of a normal pets auto attack and smack/claw,bite. Frenzy can stack on successful attacks and affect cast time of blast.

Ideally, it would work well for pets like Chimera's, Wind Serpents, Dragon Hawks Thunder Lizards (a guy could dream right?)

Essentially this would help BM hunters especially who on fights where their strongest hit is kill command, but can't hit their target. Watching your pet run around chasing your targets shadow will be a thing of the past.

It does always make me feel like a limp noodle when my pets can't smack the enemy. I would really like something like this.

I agree- great idea! One reason I haven't been playing BM as much in some of the dungeons/raids (even older ones) is because of this -- Karazhan anyone? >.<
