Karoma heal glitch

Unread post by Sukurachi »

I'm having trouble with my Karoma.

Whenever I try to call him out, he has a permanent "heal" buff on him.
He has the little icon saying "Mend Pet", and every few seconds he gets healed.

Underneath it says "21 days remaining".
So obviously, this is some sort of bug.

I tried stabling him, but it made no difference.
I had to camp him for quite a while, so I don't really appreciate the thought of releasing him and waiting again for weeks to get him back.

Anyone know what's going on?

I think this randomly happens to any pet. I know it has happened to mine a few times with Bestial Wrath n' stuff.

You're prolly going to have to send your pet against a mob and have it kill 'im. Any high-level elite should do, though I have no doubts that your pet may actually kill the elite instead, so it may take a lot of elite mob herding to do so.

I would suggest feigning death before doing so, just so you don't have to tally yourself as a casualty as well.

Oh, this just means you accidentally put him in the stable while he had Mend Pet active. It's a bug that can happen with any buff. Just need to keep him out for a bit, but you can also get a GM to fix it I think?

But... I think getting them killed might be your best bet. ^^;

I've had that happen. Yeah, one death will set your pet right again, no need to bug a GM

The pets death will take the buff off. Stabling stops the timer on the buff from going down.
