I was hoping they will be buyable for the medals, since they have gold, silver and bronze medal-coins on them...

I think that's cloud serpents. One cloud serpent is raid meta, another is heroic meta.

I'm honestly not too sure, the only info was the above line on WoW Insider. I would hope we could do it multiple times and collect them all, but we may have to wait to find out.

I hope we are able to get the egg multiple times because I would never be able to just pick one colour! ):

Edit: I just found that the egg is an achievement reward for completing all the challenge modes with a silver rating or higher. So I'm going to guess we can only have the egg once...
