Duskstalker Tame As Horde

Okay, the title doesn't tell even half the tale. This qualifies as my most insanely amazing tame ever.

I rolled a blood elf hunter on Sisters of Elune. Her name is Lethé. I got her to ten and then the fun began. I ran her to Silvermoon and then went to Crossroads.

I ran her from Crossroads (re Thunderbluff via Darkmoon Faire Portal) through Ashenvale, through Darkshore, (where I died to guards) and then across the ocean to Teldrasil.

Yes, there is no longer a boat from "new auberdine" to Teldrasil. I died about eight times from fatigue alone. Last time was a charm. Hit my ghost corpse, rezzed, and then swam through the rest of the fatigue water to arrive on land. Promptly die to a Teldrasil Sentinel. Rez, get about five feet, die again. Rez a third time at the Portal into Darnasus. Die.

Get in the portal. Die. My body is spat out in Darnasus. I click release and I'm in the Dolanar graveyard. Rez at Dolanar. Run out the back, across the pond, pounce on Duskstalker and hearth.

I honestly thought Darnasus would be the bane of my existence. Not the fact that just GETTING to Teldrasil would be the hard part. I swear this should be an achievement for Horde. But what can you expect? I'm hunter and pet crazy.

Aw :3 Grats. I know what you mean, though. I've done rediculous things as a lowbie hunter wanting a rare pet. I've run and gotten Shadowclaw and Duskstalker as a Hordie and run up to the gates of Org for a red raptor as an Alliance. x3 I just love the pets.

I did something like this recently on a draenei hunter. She was purple-skinned and teal haired and I just HAD to have the Hadronox-skin bone spider for her!

...Let's just say Arathi isn't fun at 10. Neither, frankly, is New Hillsbrad. But I got my spider, daggumit! (I'd take a screen to share but I can't log into live right now. Sad day.)

It really makes it worthwhile, imo.

Duskstalker is really worth a few visits at the spirit healer. I tamed him on a low level hunter, too. It was a pain to get into Darnassus, but the rest was quite good.
In the random pet challenge, I also made a post on how to tame the death ravager as low level horde member http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic ... &start=120 (it's the last post on this page). So for anyone who wants to try it, you might find something useful there.
