The Taming Spree ( With some back story ) *Long

This is my first post, so let me give you some back drop about me.. I LOVE MY HUNTER... I mean I really really really enjoy playing the hunter class, I love playing it so much in fact I have three hunters all together.. However this class is not my main.. I am a tank in my guild and I am considered the MT so I have to keep my responsibilities to them. I like to call my hunters my Hobby class. My hobby is to collect rares..

You see I came from the Land of Ever quest where you camped and while at the time I hated it but there was something nostalgic about camping so I love hunting (camping) rares on my hunter..

So As I said I have three. My first Hunter his Name is Rob my RL name ( well actually Ròb ) on the Khaz Modan server. He was started on a whim when my Wife and I many years ago decided to do a RAF when they first introduced RAF. My second is a goblin hunter I just started as I recently got scrolled and wanted to join my guild who moved to horde and on another server. In hind sight I should of just moved Rob the hunter over instead.. Finally I have a BE hunter who is actually my wife's hunter who did a RAF with me recently to prepare for MOP and leveling a Panda Monk Tank... on a side note, she has now fell in love with hunters and rare hunting as much as I have. She will be making this hunter her main and side lining her druid.

So thats me in a nut shell.. Now on to my Taming story.

Rob has already tamed many rares from WOTK.. Including all the northrend spirit beats. Since I returned to the game via the scroll I have been doing a bunch of RAF characters with my wife, and on the side I have been admiring Rob the hunter on my original home server when I quit he was very close to hitting 85 but never made it. However after the patch I logged in and he was 1 XP point from 85 so obviously I went ahead and brought him to level.

My wife told me she really wanted Arcturis, but being a RN in real life as well as having a family can take its toll on her time, so I told her I would camp Arc For her. I also sent the goblin hunter over to Shol Basin for Loque'nahak which I thought will also make a nice addition to her new collection..

I set up shop with my Goblin Hunter, and waited... Then alt tab to her hunter and began to travel to his spawn point. When I arrived he was UP and I in a panic I could not find her Tame beast button.. I was freaking out afraid some other hunter would come along and take him I proceeded to kite him away and chain ice trap him until I could find it .. Which I did, and she now owns him... After the tame I sent her on her way to Shol B. When I tabbed over to my Goblin in HORROR I watched a lvl 77 druid put the killing blow on Loque'nahak and I was LIKE WHY .. He said it was a rare so I killed it.. I was devastated.

Knowing that it would be a while before we saw Loque'nahak again I decided I was going to farm on my other server with Rob the hunter. Still upset about my luck I thought "Hey I am 85 now, lets see what Cata Rares I can get "

I set my sights on the Twilight Highlands and Sambas in particular. To my luck he was up So I grabbed him! I checked on Karoma but not up. I then headed over to loch modan and Ashtail was up, and I tamed him.. By this time I needed to see a stable master Stabled all my pets ( except sambas ) hoping my luck would continue... I flew to Hyjal and Terrorpene was up! Tamed...Checked on Ban'Thalos he was up .. It was tricky with the tree but I was able to Tame him.. with nothing else up I went to check on Ghost Crawler.. UP !!! so I tamed him as well..

I couldn't believe my luck, at that time I had to stop but wow what a catch !!!! Later that evening I was camping with my wife's hunter on the other server and was also able to tame King Crush ...

So in 1 day I tamed 6 rares.. it was a good day.. Thanks for reading, I just didnt have any one else to share that with and only you guys would understand how awesome this was..

However for payment of that day I have yet to see Loque'nahak again..
