Now that we're getting farms...
If you haven't heard by now, Blizzard is apparently giving us the opportunity to run our own farms. The preview by Blizzard of the Tillers faction (found HERE talks about how we're going to be able to unlock various things like seeds, animals, furniture, and even a mailbox. Given this news, I thought I'd throw together a farmer themed set for my clothies. The scythe I found is restricted to Warlocks, so I added a knife / lantern combo as well for Mages and Priests. Let me know what you think:

That looks great
Are there any sickles in the game? That might work as well, if they exist. I'm not sure.

There are some polearms that are scythes.

But that Warlock staff is the only staff model besides the Ahune staff that's still in game.

What Melentari said. There are a few scythe looking weapons, but most are polearms. The only one Mogit had as a staff was the level 20 Warlock quest staves that looked like a scythe. Likewise, most shovel looking weapons are two handed maces, but there is a one handed mace called Shovel of Mercy available to Hordies via a quest in Hillsbrad. And for weapons resembling actual sickles, I really couldn't find any. The closet matches to those might be Khopesh style swords with a curve built into them. Of course, we might get lucky and see Blizzard add moggable weapons resembling farming tools on the Tillers faction like they have with Straw Hats, but we'll just have to wait and see.Melentari wrote:There are some polearms that are scythes.

On a side note, this is another idea I had for a farmer set designed for undead characters (or anyone that would prefer a more "butchery/slaughterhouse" look. The "axe" is actually classified as a dagger and is called Neurosurgeon's Tool. However, it comes from a Horde quest, and there is no Alliance equivalent that I know of.

The closest I could find to a sickle was the dagger: Traditional Flensing Knife.

For Alliance, there's also the Corpseweed Sickle from a quest in Duskwood:

It's not a perfect representation of a sickle, but it's a 1h sword with an unusual model.
