Inetersting... and quite unexpected. I'd put my bet on the 18th(US)/19th(EU) maintanence.
I wonder when it'll be in EU. 18th morning?

So it seems that the Theramore event starts today, Monday the 17th, rather than after tomorrow's maintenance!

There is an iLevel limit for doing it (which has quite a few panties in an uproar on the official forums).

And sadly, there does not seem to be any facet whatsoever of the event which is geared to lower-level characters.
Which is really a shame.
Personally, I don't understand the mentality Blizzard had with the upcoming expansion. While there's tons of really neat stuff, and I'm looking forward to it, it seems a little unfair to me to have events that lead up to a new expansion be ONLY aimed at well-geared, level-capped characters.

Oh well.

Just a warning:
If you wish to save Spot from the destruction, do it before you finish the scenario. Once you finish it, Theramore will remain destroyed on that toon.

(It's the spot where his little doghouse used to be. I wonder if he was in when it happened. ;____; I've included a second screenie pre-bombing. He looks so peaceful in it...)

The scenario will bump up to level 90 eventually, so it's different than the normal opening events.

Thanks for clearing that up, Golden! Been wondering about him. And editing because oh god he's probably dead and that is horrible. >_<

To anyone who has completed the scenario without thinking of him, there is also a Prarie Wolf in Mulgore also capable of barking. Just tamed one in the loving memory of this fellow.

PS:Nany, why didn't you stop me from joining that scenario Q____Q First Beauty's pups and now Spot! /drops on the floor sobbing

PPS: Now that i'm thinking of it, Spot wasn't there during my scenario, I was looking for him and couldn't find him even with Track Beasts on, so hopefully he has survived and just ran off ^_^

PPPS: Now that Nany has pointed it out, I have also noticed that his doghouse didn't seem to be there, so I'm thinking he has been evacuated xD

Evacuated and then his death was framed afterwards? Since the broken doghouse is there after finishing it...

Ah we can't do it today. It's just there but we can't que til tomorrow according to a blue post. It's locked up(I'm heroic DS geared so I know I meet the requirements)

Oh was it? Eh yeah. Hopefully Wain can combine them. I just didn't think this would be a MoP thing since this subsection tells me beta things rather than what's on Live. Theramore is a pre MOP thing.
