Lol you and I did same thing. Had some pretty disappointed hunters whispering me last night. Guess I was the only engineer hunter that could skip the fighter plane quest on my realm. My heart was racing. It's so fun knowing you're going after the first one. I'll never forget that mad dash trying not to pull anything on the way.

There are other ways to get down before ya do the quest lines lol. I used a filled festive mug from new years
