Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent, I have a question about her!

Hey Petopians,
I have a quick question. A friend and I one evening had a conversation about Alani the Stormborn. In this conversation, I told her all I knew about the item you needed to remove her shield as they thought it was just motes of harmony. Earlier this week, I had read that the skycrystal doesn't tag the mount specifically to you, but just removes the shield and lowers her health. I've also read a few forum posts of people selling the mount for a lot of gold even though they got the skycrystal. My question is what actually happens when you use the skycrystal on Alani? Does the mount automatically go to you or can the group roll on it?

The reason I ask is this good friend of mine got her first skyshard yesterday and I told her congrats and told her only 9 more to go for her to get the mount, BUT she said that I get first dibs! I'm honored but I don't think the mount can be traded when the crystal you work so hard to form is used. Could you help this very confused hunter? I want to pass on to my friends who want said mount the information on how to get the mount for themselves OR to help their friends get it!

I know the group can roll which is why people are selling it. Im not sure about the tagging thing though.

From what I read, it does tag it for you.

It's supposed to tag her for you, but on YouTube somewhere there's a video of some poor guy who got his stolen from him somehow. He used the crystal and then some other people started attacking her, killed her and walked away with the mount, laughing at him. It's a confusing video but what's clear is that the guy used the crystal and then got no loot.

See it should not be allowed that anyone else can tag her, once you use the crystal she should be fully tagged to you end of sotry. Blizzard needs to implement that..

It's probably setup so guilds and friends can gift/farm the mount.

But knowing that it won't definitely be mine is scary. I just got my first Sky Shard last week, who knows how long it will take for all 10...
