Curse Client error help.

hope this is the right place for this, but A few days ago I accidently clicked the "Upgrade" button on curse client, and now I cannot access my curse client at all...I keep getting the error message about "unrecoverable error" and ".NET instillation" needing to be repaired.

So I went to the Curse site to check out their FAQ on upgrade problems, followed the links and suggested downloads/repairs/bootstrap fixes, but nothing will actually download right. I either get a "you must turn windows features on or off" error, which I went to it and turned things on, but it still wont work, and the full version .Net fix thing will download, but on the last section of downlaod It just says "Error" and then there's just a blank white box...no details at all on the error. so then I tried the clean up, but that didn't seem to do anything either, still can't get things to download.

I am using a Gateway Win7 64bit, ATI Radeon.

If anyone knows how to fix this, please, HELP!!

I've had a similar problem before and had to just uninstall Curse for awhile.

Don't worry, your addons will still run and work like normal, you just need to manually check the curse site to see if they are out of date, you will not get the in game messages or in curse client messages saying that an update is available.

Uninstall it for a while, I gave it about a week before I went back and reinstalled it myself, and things worked just fine.

It just really sucks since the previous version worked fine...wish there was a way I could re-install that version instead.
