New Pets:
- Hydras
- Basilisks
- Thunder Lizards
- Mana Wyrms
New skins for existing pets:
- Warp Stalkers (the red and black ones, of course, as well as new ones)
- Dragonhawks (the blue/green one from Sunwell Plateau)
I also suggested they change Spirit Beasts from exotic to rare versions of the family type they represent so they are more than show ponies and that they give Hunters a new ability at level 85 called "Tame Critter" that allows us to tame critters as non-combat pets. Why? Because I want a squirrel pet demmit, and I don't mean the mechanical one
I think it would be a great idea if we would place our WoW forum post here so we could see everyone's thoughts on pet ideas and we could compare. Anyone agree?
I asked for squirrels, those long see through purple snake things by the nexus that fly, and rams. I'd love to have a white non-epic type ram.
Also mmo champion has removed all alpha info at the "request" of Blizzard so we should probably be very careful what we post so we don't get Mania in trouble.
You know, I never would have pushed for slime -- they don't strike me as very huntery -- but I love mine and I want everyone to be able to know that joy ... the joy of slime!
Gryphons and Wyverns here. And new skins for the warp stalkers and dragonhawks. I have wanted the blue warpie with red stripes since I first saw it in the model viewer. And really, those two pet families are wretchedly under-represented skin-wise compared to others.

Yeah, that was unfortunate. Still, it was nice to see some of the new beast skins and Goblin Shaman totems while it lasted.
1. Gezzarak the Huntress - and/or bring in a larger variety of warp stalker skins to choose from such as the red/yellow skin that was in BC Beta and the green/blue skin that can be found in Arcatraz.
2. Sprite Darters
3. Hippogryphs
4. Gryphons
5. Wyverns
6. Stags
7. Talbulks
8. Zhevras
9. Mana Wyrms
10. Clefthooves
11. Basilisks
12. Hydras
13. Foxes
14. More Dragonhawk skins such as the blue/violet skin from Sunwell Plateau.
15. Hellboars
16. Grimtotem Spirit Wolves
17. Beast Hybrids found in mythical legends such as the simurgh/angha (a cross between a dog, lion, and peacock), and the quinotaur (a five-horned bull/buffalo); etc. Great inspiration there to utilize for new beast concepts.

Giraffes
Bumblebees----yes,I actually suggested them..lol
Foxes
Slimes---I missed them the first time
Thunderlizards
Kodos
and Skunks....that shoot you with their bums!
Hydras, and selective mountable pets, like Tyrande with her Frostsabre. :3 We've seen it done for things like the Eagles (Frostborn dailies) and crocodiles (plus a saddle, maybe not surfing. xD) Warpstalker mount yes plz. =3
I didn't think about this at the time, but I would LOVE to have that blue warpstalker skin that's been sitting in ModelViewer for years, and the Blue Dragonhawk in Sunwell!
I for one was once for the taming of Dragonkin, but I've accepted that they are DRAGONKIN, not Beasts, and thus should not be tamed.
I'm also against the taming of every Beast under the sun, including stags, shoveltusks, deer, and critters. It's funny, but not for serious matters like feedback to Blizzard HQ. Saying that, I'd love to have a pet Kodo. =3 So it's a bit iffy. If I could go through all the lists of beasts, I could give a yes/no list. xD
in game pets.. I asked for the brown direwoves that used to be in blackrock spire to be returned to the game.
Also not in game pets -- marsupials, kangaroo with same attack as a raptor. I am sad there aren't any marsupials in the game, no kangaroos, tasmanian tigers, etc.
Druids
Spirit Beast class, Exotic only
By choice in a duel, a Druid can stand still and focus on the hunter who wants to tame. The druid will, if they don't kill the hunter, be killed as a player, but suffer no durability. A copy of their current Druid form will be saved to the Hunter's stables. Only limitation; The Druid must be within 5 levels of the hunter attempting the tame. Only works for Cat and Bear forms.
This way, we can have pocket Druids! They just won't be as useful.
Er, why wouldn't stags be serious pet's? We can tame things like Devilsaurs and chimera, or moths on the other end of the spectrum. Stag's can do some SERIOUS damage with those antlers, and their hooves.
I vote for foxes and Gilnean Mastiffs for being tamable! Maybe dark hounds and Felboars could become beasts as well? Also some larger animals need some love, like kodos, shoveltusks, Zhevra, Stags and giraffes, maybe they could all be in a group with rhinos and become the Herd Animal Family, all with stampede. And more Spirit Beasts, 1 spirit beast modeled after every family would be so awesome! But also put them into the families their modeled after, the stealthing bear and wolf is just too weird. Also add at least Protodrakes as an exotic family, their not technically real dragons, so it might be ok.
For the new Fox Family maybe a back stab, or a mini Killing Spree, The Fox Trot! Cunning Family
For the new Dog Family, maybe a Demo Shout like ability, like Baleful Bark. Tenacious Family
For the new Hydra Family, a powered up venom spit cause 3 types of damage, that stacks up to 3 times. Exotic Cunning Family
For the Protodragon Family, Dragon Breath, that causes different elemental types of damage. Exotic Ferocious Family
And more Warpstalker skins please!
