No surprise, two hunters were already camping so I just decided to log and update some addons. I was disheartened to see the two hunters gone when I logged back in. It looks like Sunwing spawned just as I left!
So now that I had 3 hours to burn, I decided to check if Goldenback was up, no. Nighthowl? Nope. My LFR popped but the group didn't work out so well so out I went, back to hunting. I decided to just fly back to Burning Steppes and as I passed Flamestar Post... NPCScan blared its heartpounding alert.
Sunwing! Wait, Sunwing?!?
Sure enough he was there. Alone. No other hunters were around, only a bunch of worgs and scorpids. With my heart racing, I tapped my tame macro but it didn't work! Was Sunwing already tamed? Was my macro mistyped? No... doh! My LFR pet was still out. Classic hunter fumble.
It was a successful tame and now I'm left with two things I'm still thinking about... was it a 1 hour spawn or did the two hunters give up earlier? Answers would have to wait. I'm firing up the Pandaren Firework Launcher... for tonight, Sunwing is mine!
