WoW Withdrawal

Unread post by Vespias »

OMG, last 8 days I have not been able to log on. First my monitor plug fries, so I plug directly into the video card. Then the comp goes all screwy and starts getting nuts so it's off to my friend for a fix...4 major viruses! OK, get rid of them, and just to be safe transfer all my data to discs and then full system restore. Then the joy of reloading all the WoW stuff as well as aol, facebook, ect. Go to turn on the game and POW!...I got music but no video. So now it's back and forth with the forum techs to try and figure it out. Turns out WoW is tougher to pass up on than cigarettes! Tonight I am commandeering the laptop from the Mrs., even if it's a fight to the death!!!

I understand how you are feeling. For the past few weeks my main account and most beloved hunter has been off. I'm on the second account (it ran out today /sad) with a new baby hunter but it isn't the same, I was going to get the celestial mount for my birthday but I've put that off for Christmas in favor of game time. I can't wait till pay day! Recently got some upgrades from a friend of Huns for the computer that will be installed soon. I'm really afraid of something screwing up now haha.

Know the feeling too.
Last winter when the power got turned off for three days thanks to the trees falling on power lines it just felt horrible not being able to log in and play WOW.

I had WoW gone for a few days just recently...

I was not pretty during this time.

Luckily the police officer who talked to me about the... "incidents"... understood what I was going through...

I haven't seriously played in about two weeks, but I've been very busy with my writing. I've actually canceled my account, but may renew it closer to the end of the month, still not sure yet. But back when I was seriously playing, I was the same way.
