Weapon upgrade, where art thou?

The third week of the expansion, happily I got the crossbow out of Scarlet Monastery, a nice blue. I haven't been able to upgrade it since, in spite of trying every single week save one where I was in surgery, into LFR and when I can, into 10 and 25 pugs. For some reason this xpac, Blizzard saw fit to not give Engineers the ability to make raid equivalent weapons.. or anyone that matter, except scribes.

... And PVP weapons require rating.

So, um. Now that it's a good four or five months in.. is there ANYWHERE I'm missing that might have a stinkin' upgrade?

I share your pain! I got a bow in lfr and had been doing normal progression raiding....took a good 8 weeks at least before I saw the normal bow drop, not seen the gun in toes drop at all. And my lfr weapon came from a coin as well!!

Theres a very rare epic bow that drops in gates of the setting sun and the Klaxxi sell a blue but thats about it I think. Not alot of BoE choice for hunters atm I'm afraid.

I'm pretty much just waiting for 5.2 to come out and I can buy the pvp bow with honor, rating is suppose to be removed for it. But yeah, I have officially stopped running for any pve drops. Saving my honor on my hunter and enjoying alts atm. Its really dumb.

At least 5.2 is supposed to 'increase the drop rate' of the current raid tier stuff. x_x
