I got Troll'ed! (Thanks, Skraal!)

Wanted to share a cool story with y'all. I left WoW for a while during Cata and came back a few months ago. I've hunted rares and experienced the joy of Patch Day before, so I knew 5.2 release would likely have some glitches and what-not. Regardless, I was determined to get me that Dinomancy book and get that Direhorn!

At first, I didn't have the timing right for killing the Elite Dinomancers. I got frustrated and pulled an FD so I could stop the fight for the time being. I noticed there was another hunter (I could see his devilsaur) fighting another Dinomancer and having a bit of trouble as well. I ran over and discovered he was a Troll Hunter but didn't care and helped him kill several Dinomancers. After he got the book, he helped me kill a few but then had to go. By that point I was familiar enough with those Dinomancers that I could solo them (just annoyed if I didn't get silencing shot off in enough time).

The best part is, he came back about 15-20 (?) minutes later and helped me kill more Dinomancers until I got my book and could go get my Direhorn. I don't know if he's on these forums but felt he deserved a shout out.

Thats amazingly sweet and its always great to hear about one faction helping the other! And the fact he came back to help you really says something about this players character, good character is always welcome among the sea of scumbags that I believe most of us Wow players find ourselves floating in. xD

Aw, that's awesome! I agree with Doctress, it's always a rare but pleasant thing to find other generous players. Seems they are few and far between.
