am i the bad guy here?

Unread post by HunterFTW »

i was in a dungeon and i was doing my job which was DPSing haveing the tank pull.not needing on every peace of gear.and then the healer goes ghost wolf form and starts Tbaging me.i did not like it.i kept telling them to stop and the group put me as a bad guy for telling him to stop.if the others wanted him to tbag on them thats fine but not on me.its harassment if you ask me.

this is just a rant.

No, you're not. Sometimes people having a bad day look for a scapegoat to unload on. When I was heavily into heroics to gear up, I learned to check if the group members were from the same guild or at least the same server because it could explain a lot, like a tank or healer carrying a dps friend, or a guild group. Sometimes there are gems like the seemingly undergeared DK tank who's awesome at his role, and sometimes there's scum like the monk party leader who'll wait at the entrance, need on the trinket from the first boss, and cuss you out and kick you when you win it because you earned it.

Um... was he physically tea-bagging you? As in, did he run to your house in the real world and do it?

I don't see what the big deal is... you have to expect to deal with other people doing stupid stuff when you play online games.

I would have just logged off of vent (if you were on voice chat with them) and kept going... the more you ignore the less they will mess with you... or at least just don't worry about it.

I need more hunters, IMO.

No, you were not the bad guy there. I would have quit the instance immediately that happened, and probably reported them as well.

People doing asshole things in random 5-mans is alas not unheard of, but it's not just something you have to tolerate, and it's certainly not your fault.
