Old Posts

Just wondering, how far back does this site keep old posts?

I tried to search for some old posts (BC) and couldn't find them.

I'm pretty sure BC posts aren't kept. I think we get rid of them after a time...probably per expansion.

All posts are still around, however these forums were only created in the beginning of 2010 if I recall correctly, so we didn't even exist during BC. We started up just before Cataclysm at the tail end of WotLK.

The original Petopia site was more of a blog comment format on Mania's Arcania and I'm not sure if those still go back that far, but you could maybe dig around there with Google searches.

Aw, that's right. I remember the switch to these forums now...
I remember on her old site you had to post your name and stuff each time, so ya forgot that it was a blog.
I helped Mania out a lot in the BC and WotLK betas finding a lot tamables and such. Posting in that thread about "Did You Know? Things About WoW You May Not Have Known...!!" made me think about all of that old stuff so I tried to look it up.

She's still around, though posts rarely. Wain is the one to go to if we need to get information to her.

There were old forums, though they weren't made to handle the kind of volume we see nowadays. The original "need help naming new tame" posts were there, as were some WotLK beta threads.

Oh man, yeah I remember those now! The little baby forums. It was so nice once we moved over here.

Sadly I think the old forums were lost for good. A few years back I asked Mania if it was possible to recover one of my posts but it was apparently not possible.
