Yet another race change thread...

After watching this video, I've been thinking... Even though only two of my characters are Blood Elves, my Horde lineup in Area 52 may need more... Hordeiness.

Here's my Blood Elf Warlock, Taebory, in her current form. I have two options in mind for her. First, I could let her be and continue to annihilate my foes as a hellish waif with ginormous demon wings. Alternatively, I could turn her into a male Troll. Their animations are pretty cool too, and they are also pretty lanky themselves. I heard that once you go Troll, you never reroll (even though I race-changed my Troll Shaman to a Pandaren.)

Alternatively... I've been wondering about making a female Tauren at some point. Here is my current Paladin, a male Blood Elf named Sarthe. He looks quite dashing, but everyone and their mom plays as a Belf Paladin. Not sure whether or not he'd look as fashionable as a female Tauren, but she seems like she would be more visually distinctive. And people would love me during Noblegarden. And it'd be kinda fun to be a dude who plays as a female Tauren (Sure, I already have a panda lady, but all these talking animals are kawaii!)

So... any suggestions? Would branching out into more uncommon race/class(/gender) combinations be worth looking into? Maybe there are other options for Warlocks and Paladins that are awesomeriffic? ...Am I just doing this to be a hipster?

As you've said, everybody and their mom plays belfs - and not only paladins. Currently it seems like the horde are a faction of belfs with some other individuals added for spice.

I'm between option 3 and 4, as I lock fits belf a bit more than a troll after all, at least for me, but... bah, whatever
Change both Horde needs more hordiness.

I say change both! This may be because I have a hideous weakness for both trolls and tauren. Seriously though, male trolls look fantastic as casters, they have amazing animations- though you may fight with cloth armor a bit, as some of it looks kind of funky. WTB updated models. ;_;

The paladin is a definite YES. My pally is a female tauren and it's a fantastic race/class/gender combo. Then again, female tauren in general are pretty fantastic.

there is not enough trolls around, let along troll warlocks. troll warlock for the win! if female trolls were going to be remade to be more like the alpha model i'd suggest going female troll, but that likelyhood is loooow.

Still deciding on my Warlock, but I turned my Pally into a Tauren! His Her name is Ishtaur now.

Oh, she looks great! Love it! Her fur color works with her armor really well. (That's actually close to the set I'm going to get for my tauren paladin. ^.^)

Love her!!!! Makes me really want to level up another tauren. My last one got left in the dust at level 40 when I got on my troll kick. -goes to ponder class-

You can never go wrong playing a Tauren, even though it's tough being the sexiest race in all Azeroth.
