WoD armored pets suggestion

I feel like, with the "savage, bloody, warlike" theme of the next expansion, more armored pets would fit the theme pretty well. There are a couple of mount/boss/NPCs that are armored beasts, but not yet tameable. I may miss/overlook some. But here's a couple from the top of my head:

"Thok the Bloodthirsty,
Armored Devilsaurs and Direhorns on Isle of Thunder,
Horridon"

"Amani armored bears"

"Other armored raptor/raptor mount colors.

"Korkron Battle Wolves, in the raid"

What other NPCs in the game that have a saddle/armor that could possibly be tameable?

The upcoming boars would be a good example. Some of the images we've seen (including one of the very first we ever saw!) show the armoured riding versions as companions to ogres. Their gear looks quite credible as armour rather than riding harness.

I was wondering if Thok would become tamable myself. If you take a moment to look at him next time you kill him you should see that his skin will change color depending on what he eats. I would be curious to see if he would keep that ability if tamed, although I doubt it. Hes got some nice armor though that's for sure.

Boar pets have often sported armor in the past so I am fairly confidant we will see new armored ones we can tame.
I can't think of anything you missed but then again I never paid too much attention to what has armor. perhaps the new ravager mount model or something? I bet some new possibilities will crop up in beta once we see all the new beasts out there.

I'd like to see some of the other "tameable" armored mount types (turtles cranes and cats I think are the big ones, though also more of the wolf and raptor skins), since I've always been a fan of matching my pet to my mount. Not sure if the mount versions of the goats count as "armored" but I wouldn't mind those either, for the same reason haha

This just reminded me of the time I was running with my armored Worg pet from Hellfire Citadel and someone whispered to me asking where I got the clothes for my pet.

It doesn't fit the kind of "savage warlike" feel Draenor would have, but I like the goggled polar bears from storm peaks. They remind me of His Dark Materials.

And I know it would have zero chance (unless there's gnomish hunters), but mecha-bruce would be a hilarious armored pet. More serious ideas are Shado-pan tigers and the armored hyena from the art contest (which I know isn't in the game, but it *should* be). Also, I'm pretty sure there used to be an armored rhino (or it was an armored kodo they called a rhino) in Borean Tundra.

id like to see some armor on my red toothed maggot, the alliance chopper armour would make my Nibbles so snazzy.
