Pre-Patch Date....Hunter question

I don't know if this was mentioned in the guide but will hunter pets that have been mentioned in WoD for EK/Kalimdor/Wrath/Cata/Mop be tamable in the pre-patch? I've got a level 15 hunter and I would love to tame one of the stags in Darkshore

Yes they will long as they aren't Draenor exclusive.

There was a tweet about it, I think, that said stuff like hydras would be tameable come 6.0.

Once prepatch goes live, everything that doesn't involve WoD only content like leveling to 100, garrisons, new zones, etc. should go live as well. So new character models, toybox, talent revamp should all be available come prepatch.

What day is the pre-patch going live? I've heard rumors it's Oct 14.

They announced the pvp ends in two weeks as of last tuesday so yeah, probably next week.

Oct 14th is the highly considered date right now.

They did say around one month before WoD comes out, so that seems very likely.
