Iowawolf has once again established himself as my main and knocked Shadowhowl from the top spot in one fell swoop last night the top has again changed hands how you may ask did it happen well let me explain.
It all started when Iowawolf picked up the quest to begin the journey to obtain the legendary cloak it seemed easy enough collect this kill that I was zipping through it like was nothing that was until I ran into the pvp part which for a bit roadblocked me but it didn't last. In the Temple I just ran around the start and we won but the Mines was the hard one since Alliance loses so much. What I did was buy the DK starting greens and equipped them that way they knew I didn't pvp and was just there for the cloak. Surprisingly we won and I haven't been back since cause well I suck at pvp and avoid it when possible.
After taking care of the pvp part was back to simple stuff which relieved I was breezing through only next to be hit hard by the Thunder Forge no matter how many times I tried I wiped even tried by redoing my spec from blood to unholy still wiped so I took a break from trying knowing I was at the end of my travels. Head hanging low I wanted to break down and cry cause I really wanted my cloak. Then out of the blue one day I was like ok it is time, now or never and so I made a day of grinding the Forge. Went in there and was like this is it the fates are with me today and all of a sudden I beat it couldn't believe my travel continues and so my cloak adventures continue.
Went back to doing the killing and collecting bit having a grand time thinking ok the Forge is behind me now what else will be thrown in my way only then I didn't know the horror that awaited me in the Celestial Blessing quest. It began so easy like went and talked to all four and read the challenges thinking ok how hard can this be lots have done them and being after patch they should've been nerfed way down and boy was I wrong so wrong. Since I was in frost spec with unholy I went for the dps one and it was brutal so brutal. I kept wiping so bad even after reading Wowhead guide on what to do.
Nothing I was doing was stopping the bleeding my heart was taking as slowly my dreams and hopes of getting my cloak were disappearing again I was broken inside worse this time then from the Forge because I had gotten so close to my goal only to watch it go up in smoke. With a last bit of hope I remembered what I had read on Wowhead dealing with the tank challenge and since my dps was so bad in the other thought what the heck.
Off to the Ebon Hold I went to talk to the blood trainer and relearned the spec which saved my life many times before not realizing how once again it was going to save it in more ways than one. I dropped unholy which wasn't as fun as I thought it would be and picked up blood spec also I gutted my talents for that spec since it was unholy and made sure my glyphs were set right not only that I redid all my gems to tank spec this was my final chance for the cloak and I was going down fighting.
With gems, talents and glyphs all set for blood spec and my bars set the way I liked I knew this was it time to do this either I was going to get it done or die trying so off to Townlong Steppes I flew where I swung by the Shado Pan garrison to pick up my date for the evening. Took her with me to the great ox and told him I was ready to begin his challenge which started like all the rest with a wipe.
But I knew deep inside this was it my time was now and so I again talked to him this time I told him no more this ends now and no one will stop me and he did try hard to stop me. Deathwing appeared and with the help from my date, yes I picked up a female panda lol, I watched as his bar dropped as I held aggro the whole time burning him down. All of a sudden it happened he fell to my blade and I emerged the winner I was in shock couldn't believe what happened I was moving on in my journey. I thanked the great ox for allowing me to continue and told him I will never forget his assistance in helping me.
Next I headed to the Timeless Isle to down all four Celestials which was easy since I joined a premade group when they all fell I thanked them and moved on my travels which had me head to Cho to tell my story. After telling him my story I was told in order to be a true Legend I had to kill Garrosh and once again headed into SOO with help of premades. Garrosh fell to the group and I wasn't a Legend yet till I turned it in which I promptly did only to be amazed at the way he was acting towards me and how he had wanted to do what he did.
And so my travel has ended where it began the inn in the mists this time though I am a Legend of Pandaria, I am now the owner of my legendary cloak I have survived when the light seemed dimmest I have beaten the odds and came out stronger for it...Iowawolf is back as my main.
