Awesome Garrison Mission!

So, I was testing out Bandicam and absentmindedly took this garrison mission without much more than a, "Huh, those look familiar..." Once my follower came back and I got the reward, though, it hit me as to what they were! Apparently, the rare mission "Mysteries of Lok-rath" gives 100 Halaa Battle Tokens and 40 Halaa Research Tokens, which is just enough to buy either the Dark Riding Talbuk or the Dark War Talbuk from Halaa! No PvP needed, which is absolutely wonderful for a PvEer such as myself!

So if you have Kimzee Pinchwhistle or another follower who can negate the mission debuff, I'd definitely try to complete it!

Woot! That's some awesome news!

I'm just 1-2% short of lvl 98 myself, so I should soon be able to get this mission.
Are the missions you get random? Do they "reroll" if you don't complete them for some time? I really need to start hunting for this one...

If you have the artillery tower in Talador, it has a mission table inside.

My next goal is to get my Garrison to level 3. I was 750 resources short when I hit 100 and I'm still about 650 now. They don't come that easily for me and sending followers on missions eats them up.

As much as this is awesome to new comers it kinda makes me weep as i farmed SO MUCH DUST for my two talbuks...le sigh!

good part about it, u can get it more then once, i ended up getting 2 on my druid 2 days apart. i thought id never get those 2 dam tulbuks lol

I got this mission more than once on various toons and had enough to buy both of the PvP mounts from Halaa.

Also, in case anyone is curious, there is more than one quest that rewards Halaa tokens. I started tossing them out after I got the mounts. My bank was starting to get flooded with them.

Trust me, at some point you'll be: "oh no! not Halaa battle tokens again!"

I got this one about 2 weeks ago, was finally able to get both my War Talbuks

(one toon I had been farming on for a long time finally got enough tokens to)

It was character building! Character building, I say!

A group of friends and I waited and farmed it in Lich King. We all had Horde alts by then, so we'd take turns swapping and being cannon fodder, then swap again when the res. timer got ridiculous. It felt like it took forever. I like how they found a way to make it reasonable now

I got this mission again about 2-3 weeks ago, before I had to transition from my old laptop to my new desktop, and I immediately remembered how many were shaking their fists on here going, "Darnit, Blizz! I slaved over that stupid dust back in BC!"

I kinda feel bad for mentioning it... >.> I mean, I know you guys would have found out sooner or later anyways, but... I still feel bad for those who really worked their butts off to earn those talbuks.
