Warning/Heads up: Transmog 2.0 precaution!

Unread post by SetsunaChan »

Just a note of precaution/heads up to those thinking on clearing out bags/void storage in prep of transmog 2.0 it would be best to not sell or delete anything until it's ingame. Cause it seems anything that is not a quest reward will possibly be lost!

A blue was asked if it was a good idea for them to clear out their bank here is the blue's response.
Transmogrification
Is it safe to sell/delete some of the transmog items? Are they already stored on account or have to wait for launch ?
Outside of quest reward items, you'll want to wait until the transmog system is available in-game before you delete any gear. (WarcraftDevs)

So if you did do so, might be a good idea to use the item restore on items that aren't quest rewards.

Good to know. I deleted my quest items in preparation, but not my other loot because I suspected this. Thats one of my main questions answered!
