IMHO Skoll should get Hati model as well but of different colouration, making the model BM exclusive.

The current Skoll model can be used for the rare wolf(Cracklefang) in the Veil of Eternal Blossom, so it will be still quite rare. but this is just my 2 cents

No, no lightning worgs are available in the game, at least that anyone has seen.

I guess they could add the new lightning worg model to the world as a tameable without much issue because the model is only used by hunters. It's a bit different to, say, adding a tameable Xuen-style tiger where you may encroach on monks. So hopefully some day

I also wonder what they'll do with the older model now. The one they created for Hati using a Northrend-style model and scrapped. They could hopefully be used somewhere without any issue at all since it's not currently assigned to anything.

I like the current Skoll model as a spirit beast. Plus if the old Skoll were just updated, then there wouldn't be an opportunity for a new challenge tame.

Since "Sköll" in Norse poems sometimes meant Sköll and sometimes meant Fenrir, a new model Skoll could be added elsewhere, with a slightly different name, leaving it ambiguous which Skoll was the father (Fenrir) and which was the son (Sköll). Then the new model Skoll would be a new prize, and not something automatically handed out.

I've already said I'd love to see Skoll and any of the NR worg model updated. I do not want them having a whole new model.
I do like the idea if it was even possible have having two different Skoll models. One the old NR worg the other the Legion Hati model. So for those who'd want a brand spanking new Skoll could while those who want the old NR model can keep that without having to worry about them losing him. Wouldn't be hard. The models are already there. It would be just like the bears. Rare maintain their old model while everything else gets the new model.

Keeping more on topic. While I'm not in alpha I would not mind seeing a Hati /Fenrir that's tamable
