So I've tried [item="61113"/] and it's not working, I'm not going to put all the combos of the space that I tried. I found a few forum posts about it but no one has posted an answer.

I was about to say, we don't have an [item] tag here, but then realized you were talking about the official WoW forums.

I don't know how to do that on the official forums, only in Wowhead posts.
