Oil Stained Wolf question

Hello,

So I have not taken my pal out of the stable for some time, nor my bird. I was wondering if anyone still has theirs intact? I have been looking for info but have been unable to find any. I'm also too scared to face any horrors if the oil coat has been removed.

I still have mine. I took mine out a few days ago. But I put it back because I'm not 100% sure if it keeps its effect upon death any more.

My trick tames disappeared completely while I was away and my account went inactive. No oil wolf, oil bird, grubs, nothing. So, don't let your account go inactive?

i take my oil,ghost,fire pig - every expantion - they are still as they were when tamed. i still wouldnt use them just incase - like ive herd that someone lost their oil wolf from it dying but im not going to test it lol.

and both the grubs they are the same as taming again, they work in pvp fine - not sure about arenas because i dont touch that -

My sha-corrupted crocolisk is still all grey and sha-ey. I don't use him much out of fear of stumbling into something that inadvertently removes the buff, but I'm still glad to have him. Sadly the Hati appearance changer doesn't take the sha buff into account (nor any of the other special effect pets I'm guessing).

Same as everyone else. All appearance buff pets still have them post patch. Both grubs are perfect. I too though am not willing to test if the appearance is kept after death.

There were two grubs? I just remember the one from Dread Wastes, and there's no reverting for that one since it was originally a cute orange chompy grub-grub.

For a brief time the Gorishi Grub was tamable. So some have this one and the amber parasite.
