Just for fun try and guess where my Devilsaur's name came from I will give a hint it is from a nine book series by author Naomi Novik and the named character is the main character.
I recently found the first two I had and now bought the rest to complete the series and yes I also dread the final one but maybe there will be more of the dragon on her web page she did say and I quote, Michelle D. Keyes writes: Do you see an end at some point for the Temeraire series? Do you have any plans to start another series at some point in the future?Vephriel wrote:I love the Temeraire series! I have all the books, I've been procrastinating finishing the final one because I don't want it to be over.
A bit of palindromic wisdom:

Casual player.. don't raid, don't PvP. Suffer from extreme altitis
I love pets - combat or non.

Yes, in the books the dragon is named specifically after the French vessel called Temeraire, which was captured in the Napoleonic wars. (it's a really interesting series, based on that era but with dragons included in the mix as war vessels themselves!)Sukurachi wrote:Well, the name is from the French for "foolhardy".
It also means foolishly brave. One who is téméraire launches oneself into battle without consideration for the consequences.
