Name for a druid?
Trying to come up with a good name for my Druid/Warden in EQ1/EQ2 - Remember I can have a surname too
So far I gotten these suggestions but looking for more
Sindarin:
Gelennil - “Lover of Trees”
Galadhrim - “Tree-people”
Galathilion - “White Tree”
Eryn Vorn - “Dark Wood”
Gladuial - *Twilight Wood”
Quenya
Aldinga - "Tree top"
Aldanil - “Lover of Trees”
Ornendil - "Tree-friend"
Tawin? - Wood
Envinyatar - "the Renewer"
Mimírima - “very beautiful”
Míriel - “*Jewel-daughter”
Noldorin:
Galadhrien - “Tree-lady”
So far leaning towards Miriel Gladhrien but need more suggestions to think about

Re: Name for a druid?
Brynna "hill"
Cigfa "raven"
Dara "oak grove"
Feenat "small deer"
Hafwen "fair summer"
Linet "little pool or waterfall"
Rhian "nymph"
Tara "hill"
Another option for the second name is to use an agnomen, which is a kind of nickname, an example being Miriel Treefriend. Many night elf npcs do this; my nelf's full name is Mingyao Ambermoon.

On an Rpg server on eq2 . I dont see a lot of nicknames around but it's defo something to think about. I like Dara in your suggestions. Which language is it from?
Also might go with Naitha- means Oakhealer according to this old DnD chart

Multiple languages use the name Dara. The Irish meaning is oak. It can also be used as a surname.

Re: Name for a druid?
UPDATE:
Reserved the first name Tinnúviel, Tinúviel, Milui and Miluiel. Milui means friendly, loving, kind in Sindarin. . not sure if I want to go with it in pure form or ad an el so I reserved both plus Tinnúviel and Tinúviel... Also need a surname. Opinions appriciated
Could be Milui Tinnúviel/Tinúviel or Tinnúviel/Tinúviel Milui ? Kind, loving nightingale?
Putting more suggestions here.
Sindarin
Minuial - "morrowdim", the time near dawn, when the star fade
Elbereth “Queen of Stars, (lit.) Star-queen”
Tinnúviel - nightingale
Mithril - Make a name maybe Miethriel
Niphredil - Snowdrop
Quenya
Ancalima "brightest of stars"
Elenion Ancalima “brightest of stars”
Elentári “Queen of the Stars, Star-queen”
Elenna “Starwards”
Cémi ("k")"Mother Earth"
Kementári “Queen of the Earth
Tindómerel - "daughter of twilight"
Isilmë - Moonlight
Ilmarë - starlight
Nieninquëa - Snowdrop
Not desided yet..

Re: Name for a druid?
According to my copy of Jim Allan's "An introduction to Elvish", Tinúviel is the correct spelling

I like the name Elenium, it is definitely in harmony with nature.
