M.A.G.N.O was flagged as tameable

M.A.G.N.O. can be spawned on top floor of the Scrapshop building in the Bilgewater Flats area. A player aligned with the Bilgewater Cartel must talk with Ragzy Cashgrab to start the event leading to the rare. This event requires players to throw enough scrap at the MAGNO-SCRAPPER 9000 on top of the building, by either assembling scrap, dragging filled dumpsters, or killing rival junkers that spawn nearby. M.A.G.N.O. will spawn once the scrapper is at 100%.
He was up the other day and i scanned with beast lore and was marked as tameable. Sadly a ton of players killed him very fast. This one will be tough to tame without interruption

Are you sure? Unless some hotfix happened, he shouldn’t be tamable. I did the event last night and checked just to make sure, and he wasn’t flagged as tamable, let alone being in the Mechanical pet family.

That sounds annoying, good thing this mechanowolf look is used elsewhere, except the goblin-esque name. We had a opportunity to have tameable mechanical parrots from the undermine questline, but they weren’t flagged as tameable

it was flagged tamable 2 days ago. Wish i had screen shotted it. Based on your statement, I now wonder if they patched it out

As of yesterday, March 6th, it is still flagged as tamable. So many folks working to make it spawn = low chance for taming now. :p

Now, who's a bad enough dude to actually tame it during 11.1 to answer the most important question of if it keeps its name when tamed? Not me, because I'm on a very populated connected realm full of sweaty tryhards...

I tested it again two days ago and it wasn't flagged as tamable, let alone even being in the Mechanical pet family. I couldn't use Beast Lore on it and when I used the macro on it to see what its family was, it has nothing.

Went online to do something unrelated, but was in Undermine when I logged in. Saw Magno was up, so I drove over like a bat outta hell and saw the event was almost done. I sat and waited, and sure enough it spawned when everyone else did the work for me. Tried to beast lore, and it was an invalid target as stated. Since I had absolutely zero chance to rip aggro long enough to try taming, I just jotted down its ID (using Idtip for an addon), checked Wowhead, realized Wowhead is trash right now that has tons of mistakes and lacks Undermine information for pets, checked WowDB, and sure enough it was not flagged. It hasn't been flagged either, as no changes have been made to it at all on any patch or hotfix since the PTR. So, unless proof can be posted that reinforces the claim, this is sadly not true at all. M.A.G.N.O. is not tameable.

Wowhead lacks all tameability info now not just undermine, I had to check statuses in game because of that, it used to take seconds to look up tameable flags, now it takes minutes to check
