Legion Remix: New Tames Added to The Broken Isles (All Locations Known)

"Hunters can now find tameable hyenas, clefthoofs, core hounds, stone hounds, and devilsaurs on the Broken Isles."
In a hotfix today, they added some extra beasts for added variety. The database isn't updated so I don't have anything else to show, but there's new things out there. Somewhere.


EDIT: Wowhead has the information now. Known Beasts:
- Clefthoof: Clefthoof, found in Stormheim just east of the rare "Starbuck", uses the blue, gray, tawny brown, and red Draenor clefthoof skins.
- Core Hound: Felhound, found in Azsuna across the island of Faronaar, uses the green core hound skin.
- Hyena: Hyena, found on a floating island north of Dalaran, uses the beige, black, burnt orange, purple, red, silver-grey, andyellow hyena skins.
- Stone Hound: Stone Guardian, found in Azsuna in a hidden cave east of Azurewing Repose, uses the gray stone quilen skin.
- Devilsaur: Young Devilsaur, found in Suramar in the Menagerie near Su'esh, uses the black, blue, bronze, green skins

Note: These are NOT available outside of Legion Remix. These NPCs only spawn for timerunner players.

I just came here to post about this! I'm really curious which models will be made available and where. Not that I think there will be anything new or unique but, still interesting.

There's also the question of if any of them are unused skins, as well as if they're remix exclusive or were added to normal Broken Isles as well. I haven't found any so far, but I'm also half-asleep and exhausted from playing a new mobile game, so I probably overlooked something lol

Friend said he saw a clefthoof in the "mounted pvp area". Went there on retail, but on NA, there's a legion invasion so I can't check there. Went on my remix character, and there was indeed a Clefthoof just hanging out here. Doesn't have a unique skin. It's located just east of the rare "Starbuck" in Stormheim.

EDIT: it spawns in various locations, though they take a while to respawn when ki- I mean tamed.
EDIT 2: Three colors spotted.

The clefthoof will be great for soloing, I'll keep my eyes peeled and post if I find anything while wondering around.

Edit: I found some Young Devilsaurs in the Menagerie in Suramar. They were just outside Su'esh's cave.

Wowhead updated to have the NPCs listed, so I updated the list in the first post to have the relevant NPC IDs and matching skins listed.

@Pokcmvmxckm: Nice work finding the devilsaur and stone hound. That's crazy that you found that random hidden cave lol.

Found the Felhound in Faronaar (Val'Sharah)

The Felhounjds are scattered around the plateaus of Faronaar, in the beast den. They are elite, but same level as you are.

Nice. Now we just need to find the hyena, and we're golden.

I'd thought I remembered seeing some in the menagerie as well, but no go. Plenty of *other* plains creatures, but no hyenas.

Wish they'd have marked some of the menagerie creatures as tameable as well, for the record. I wouldn't mind a wind serpent!

Hahaha oh wow. Right in plain sight, yet they were the last one to be found. That's kind of funny. Good job finding them! With that, we know where all the new pets are. Sadly no new skins, but this is good for remix hunters regardless.

This was a really awesome thing they've done, and I hope the Devs know how appreciative we are. There are certain pets that are just standard go-tos to be without them makes you feel unprepared!

Finally got off my lazy butt and checked non-Remix. None of these new tames are available outside of Remix. Not that any of the skins are unique, but still.
