New Raptor Animation and A Broken Neck
I was today years old when I discovered raptors now have a unique stance when they're fighting... well, most of them. When doing something else, I just randomly tamed a skeletal raptor for the hell of it, and I noticed it was doing some weird animation. When I took a closer look after taming, I was surprised to notice that it had a whole new battle stance! I went and tamed every other raptor model, and checked them manually (I don't trust Wowhead, they've been wrong before). Only three varieties of raptor do not have this new stance; falcosaurs, Zandalari ravasaurs, and saptors. Every other raptor model otherwise, including the saurids, performs this new stance. It's likely because, with the exception of the three that don't do it, every other raptor uses the same skeleton that Zandalari druids use for their travel form. I was surprised to see that nobody reported on this before, unless "raptor" and "animation" were never spoken when it was found lol.
As for the other half of the thread title, well... look at Ohgan in the screenshot below. It's missing an entire section of its neck when taking this pose. This is because on the skeletal raptor mount model, the middle neck vertebra are not stretched like they are on the non-mount model. I don't know when this animation was added, but it brought a funny bug along with it.

- Left is Living Fossil, right is Ohgan. Note the stretched neck bone on the Living Fossil.

Resident exploiter/bug finder that is currently looking for a bug that can safely be shared to tame unintended pets.
Found a bug? Contact me so I can investigate; it's likely far worse a bug than what you think.

I just checked for myself. Funny enough, Gonk has the animations while the normal maned ravasaurs don’t. It’s an amazing addition and they’re probably being sneaked in just now
