I have a troll hunter (level 50) wich I thought I could use to check out the Ghost Saber, from which I heard so much but never ever saw it ingame.
Ronkena, the troll, jumped to the back of his swift raptor, dug his heels into the beasts rips and sped off to go to darkshore, home of the so abhorred Nightelves, where the Ghost Sabre was rumoured to be lingering to defend the Cat Figurines that still lay in the Ruins of Mathystra, that now gave home to some Nagas.
As soon as the troll started to look around nervously when he entered enemy territory, he didn't believe his eyes, as he saw a creature he had expected everywhere in this world but not here. There was a polar bear, right on the side of the road through darkshore.
Realizing that the beast was rather young, he carefully stepped of his raptors back and carefully got closer to the blinding white bear.
He sat down, admiring the beast, studying his movements and wondering, where it may have come from. All the other bears were gray or brown. Someone must have set the bear free here or this was some kind of a silly joke of mother nature.
Since he left Otumuri, his crocilisk in the trusting hands of the petkeeper in Orgrimmar, he carefully tried to get closer, luring the bear with some tasty treat but the beasts reaction was so furious, so full of anger that he abandoned all thought of taming the beauty immediately.
He suddenly realised some kind of collar, made from leather dyed blue and with the alliance symbol dangling from it. Whatever this animal was doing here, it clearly belonged to the alliance and was probably trained to attack trolls, orcs and the other races that formed the horde. At least, that was what the fierce reaction to Ronkenas attempt to go near it suggested.
Sighing sadly, he climbed back on his faithful raptor and, looking back at the lonely bear, went of to find the Ruins of Mathystra, his intentional destination, but not without marking the spot on his well-worn old leather map of Kalimdor.
