Night Elf starting pet - Riding white tiger

White Saber Tiger - White tiger with the style of a mount.

As far as I am aware there is currently no way to tame this skin. It also means that unless I roll a new hunter, I will never be able to have it - and I currently have a Night Elf hunter as it is!

Anyone know if there are other versions of this pet around the beta that can be tamed?

"Young Cat" - new in Cataclysm it appears. No idea where it is, or whether it's tameable.

Other than that, it's only in use by Eskhandar (a presumed untameable procced spawn) and Frostsaber Companion which doesn't help me trying to tame it on a Night Elf even if it was tameable!

IDK, but i want one, too. I'm not too big a fan of the normal cats and lynxes, but the maned ones and the riding ones I really like

Mayhaps we might get some cats with this skin in Winterspring where all the other frostsabers are? Just a thought!

Well about Winterspring, they havent changed anything there, so that might be a possibility, but the youg cat as read above...never seen one yet^^
But I will keep my eyes open for such a kitty^^

I am personally hoping that they will put one in my hunters stable being a Night elf. I have Always wanted one since I seen em wandering around Darnassus.

If you race change i wonder if your starter pet changes to your new race's. Any ideas?

I noticed that Wowhead's Cataclysm DB lists a "Young X" that matches each of the starter pets, at least as far as the ones they have info on. For example, "Young Tallstrider" is a purple tallstrider, just like the Tauren starter pet, "Young Bat" is a brown bat like the undead starter bat, etc.

So I think that "Young Cat" you found is the night elf starter pet.

I also heard that King B had been changed into the riding tiger model, but so far as I can tell that's not currently true on the beta. I was comparing him to the one in the model viewer, and he is lacking the extra facial hair and whatnot.

But .. I have hopes that Blizzard will realize the potential problem here and fix it by plopping down at least one white riding tiger somewhere.

I really hope that this riding tiger skin appears tamable somewhere. Maybe they could appear at Frostsaber Rock in Winterspring!
