Cho'gall's sound files, in Dire Maul, indicate that there are two traitors, an Alliance and a Horde figure, who are working from within to give the Twilight's Hammer Cult a leg-up in recruiting. We can now surmise that those traitors are Archbishop Benedictus, now known as The Black Bishop, for the Alliance and Grand Magister Rommath for the Horde.

In that light, yes. But I remember, back in Vanilla, watching Benedictus trash an entire raid full of horde in the cathedral. It was on of my first real tastes of epicness in WoW, and something I'll never forget.

There is something in Tahlian's Farstridery heart that is quietly amused that the Magisters will be getting that kick in the stomach. Maybe the Sin'dorei can find a slightly better fashion of government than a mageocracy.

I thought it was very interesting that it's two essentially religious leaders that double cross them like that. Short of Tyrande, I don't think either faction has a more clearly defined religious leader that could have become a traitor, do they?

Rommath is a mage, not a priest. Someone like Lady liadrin would be more fitting if they went for religious leaders. That would tie in with the evil orphan too... :P

I realise he's a mage, Saturo. I based my description on this:

Rommath accomplished his mission: relaying tales of a glorious promised land, spreading the teachings of Illidan (teachings which Rommath smoothly attributed to Prince Kael'thas), and planting the notion that Kael'thas might one day return to lead his people to paradise
