I had two old rats (2 years old, about) named Snickers (black hooded) and Peanut (champagne hooded, faded to white later). Snickers passed away a couple months back after a series of small strokes; Peanut is very old and decrepit, dragging herself around the cage, mostly eating/sleeping.
Well, my husband and I decided to get 2 new young rats. We introduced them carefully, on neutral ground, and to our delight Peanut not only immediately accepted them, but curled up with them and began bruxing (happily chomping teeth and boggling eyes!). The two little new ratties have made her remaining days much brighter, I think; they groom each other and sleep together, etc. Rats are social!!
Anyways, they newcomers are two small female rats. Both are agouti hooded (brown-gray natural color + white). They're both healthy, bright and energetic rats; but I need names! I've had them for almost a week and just can't think of anything.
I'd like two matching names, something that contrasts their personality or appearances. Food or drink names would be cool, to follow the theme. Things like spices, alcohol, anything, but it has to be short names and preferably pretty or cute

The rats:
* The smaller one has a standard hood and back stripe. She is MUCH more "frantic" than the other, much more jumpy.
* The slightly larger one has a back stripe that extends all the way down her sides, so that her sides look like a patchy goat's fur! She's a lot more inquisitive and confident than her more flighty sister. I intend to try and teach this one some tricks

So, any name ideas for me? I'm normally so good with naming beasties!
