Spirit Beasts and Prowl
So i've recently managed to tame Skoll and Arcturis (having to re-tame every spirit beast due to me having to start over on a new hunter) but i've been wondering something. Is it worth keep prowl on for them? Does the bonus damage effect their spirit strike since is usually the first skill they use at the start of a fight? I did a small test last night while in HoR i didn't see much difference (but then again a good portion of their SS was resisted) So what is everyone opinion on prowl with spirit beasts?

I suppose if I were bringing a Cat or Spirit Beast into a raid or something sort of serious I might put it on, but on both families I usually keep Prowl turned off. The slow speed and transparent pet just bothers me, and for things like Heroics I wouldn't say it makes a difference.

Depends on playstyle. I prefer unstealthed pets during PvE and Stealthed pets during PvP. The bonus for opening attack doesn't outweigh the loss during transit in my opinion. With the new Camo skill, I would have thought prowl would go away in Cata. Really it makes less sense for a pet to stay stealthed when a hunter camos in theory. We'll see how it plays out in fact.
I don't really feel like this is so much the "Post-Modern" era as much as its the "Pre-Zombie-Apocalpse" era. I consider myself more of a forward thinking guy and an era that just won't die is just as feasible as a coming era, where the dead come back.
