What's unchanged / NOT tameable on the beta

This is a thread of what's been tested and found to be still UN-tameable. Because everyone's going to ask and it'll save other explorers a lot of time if we don't have to duplicate our checks.

Potential families that are still completely untameable:
- Thunder lizards in Un'Goro and the Southern Barrens
- Giraffes in Barrens & Shol.
- Zhevras in Noerthern Barrens
- Kodos in Barrens
- Pterrordax in Un'Goro
- Diemetradons in Un'Goro and Maraudon
- Hydras in Ashenvale, Maraudon, Dustwallow, Zang, Netherstorm, ZF
- Basilisks in Tanaris, Maraudon, Desolace, Zang., Netherstorm, Deepholm, Hyjal
- Hippogryphs in Feralas and Azshara
- Gryphons in Twilight Highlands, Hillsbrad
- Stags in Feralas, Winterspring, Darkshore, Azshara, DB, Crystalsong, Hyjal, Twilight Highlands
- Shoveltusks in HF & GH
- Fen Striders in Zang
- Mana Wyrms in Netherstorm, Eversong & Ghostlands
- Talbuks in Nagrand & Netherstorm
- Elekks & Clefthoofs in Nagrand
- Gyreworms in Deepholm

From tameable families, but still not tameable:
- Python model snakes in Tanaris & Nagrand

The following are still colour changers when tamed. None have been fixed:
- Pyreshell Scuttler crabs (the biolucent crab model)
- Vale Howler monkeys in Stranglethorn
- Temple Scarabs in Uldum
- Marsh Crocolisks in Silverpine
- Cavedweller Worgs in SP

Great idea Wain, perhaps I'll sticky this for you and if you felt like it you could keep it updated. That way it will be an easy place of reference without others creating new threads to ask if X or Y is tameable yet.

I did a more in depth scan of a few zones. I didn't check EVERYTHING, but I checked anything with a rarer look (an aura or something similar). Anything that was a named mob. And anything that I knew was untameable in a previous patch.

Felwood: Ironwood Buzzers (wasps/fireflies). Felrot coursers. Emerald Bearkin.
Winterspring: Rimepelt (new quest bear, white skin). Also the Altered Beasts around Mazthoril.
Ashenvale: Shadumbra. Ursanguous. Sharptalon. Ashenvale Nightsaber. Palanaar's Elekk. Snails. Anything that looks like a druid in cat/bear form. The NPC's cat in Talonbranch Glade (I forget the cat's name).
--- Interestingly, Targol, the boar that hangs with the stable master in Zoram'gar Outpost, shows up as tameable in beast lore. But I'm horde so I can't. Perhaps an alliance could check. Also, as horde I could tame Goodie, the grey tallstrider that pats around with Elena (?) Edune at the House of Edune. Neither of these is a unique skin.
Darkshore: Shimmershell Snail. Consumed Thistle Bear. Corrupted Thistle Bear. Dangerfish. Fiendishfish.

I'll continue on with more zones later today/tomorrow. Only so much circling I can do in one pass.

Interestingly, Targol, the boar that hangs with the stable master in Zoram'gar Outpost, shows up as tameable in beast lore. But I'm horde so I can't. Perhaps an alliance could check.

He is or was tameable by Alliance. I logged it as a bug back when I tamed him a couple of patches ago

Almost forgot - so far, all of the gyreworms I've come across are stilll untameable.

Stonetalon: rams, wyverns, and thunder lizards, Kalimdor Eagle, Spirit Wolf, Queen Silith, Cragjaw, Cenarian Caretakers in bear form
Desolace: basilisks
Mulgore: Kyle the Frenzied
S. Barrens: Savannah Boar, Razormane Boar
Dustwallow: threshers, Spiny Rock Crab

haven't found anything in N. Barrens that wasn't mentioned (kodos, etc), and nothing in durotar

Server's restarting, so I'll continue in 1k afterwards.

1k: Terrapins, snails, and any fish type creatures in the water
Feralas: Vale Owl, Sprite Darters (they're dragons), Grimtotem Naturalists in bear form
-- Dire Maul: Ferra, Cadaverous Worm (still not beasts), Carrion Swarmer
-- Of note: The Razza is no longer in the DM arena. He's now a rare spawn that has a lair near New Thalanar. Lvl 40 and still tameable.
Tanaris: Dune Worm (not a beast), basilisks, O'Reily
-- Zul'farrak: Scarabs, basilisks, ghaz'rilla
Un'goro: Devilsaur Queen

I'll hit up EK later. Not gonna do Silithus still they start on the zone revamp... it's all the same still.

i dont know if any one seen thise but on wowhead i see 2 silithid ant models tameable is thise true?

Just did a double check of the two creatures that Wowhead has on their list and no, neither ant models are tameable.

Another family you can add to the list are the Shoveltusk, I have been wanting to tame one of those since I first saw one. I always thought they would make a great tenacity pet.

Oh, I somehow left them off the list! I have checked them out in the current patch and they're still not tameable either.

I didn't check out every last beast in 13202 but I checked out most of them and nothing had changed apart from beetles in ZF, LBRS and BRD now being tameable. Then I got distracted by hunting rares Hopefully there'll be a new patch soon though.

Dunno if it's just me, but the Kurken in Azuremyst Isle is untameable now, evidently. I'm a little depressed.
